Coles Balwyn North

The store is clean and tidy. There is a wide variety of products. The staff is warm and thoughtful. This is a store I like very much.

Freshly baked bread with bread cutting machine and fresh juice and coffee machine instore. Has fresh pasta and ice cream near front of store.

Great selection of foods. Of particular note, the selection of bakery items is broader than the normal Coles franchise. I really wish I had this Coles in regional East Victoria.

Vice nice store, big parking lot

Great variety of stock, and there was a pregnant staff member who was very helpful and cheerful.

I have to withdraw my previous 3 star rating. A fresh pasta bar, coffee station, and a wide variety of fruit and veg. The back area still has the close-packed shelving for regular products.
This is head and shoulders over what this place was like a few years ago.

Lots of free parking spaces and helpful supplies. Whenever I come here, there are no shortages in any of the products at all!

Other than that, the food is also very fresh and organic! Almost all products are eco-friendly! 😃

Team member Leigh has outstanding customer service and people skills! Not only did he point me to where the products I needed were, he also took me straight to them even though extremely busy. Highly recommend…

Great supermarket with quality produce.

Absolutely lovely coles. I brought some of there machines and macaroons. Really tasty. The new refurbished centre is an absolute pleasure to shop at. Also there is plenty of parking at the rear of the building. Highly recommend going to this location.

My trip to Coles today was beyond adequate. Everything I needed, except choc mint ice magic, the superior ice magic. Christmas stuff is out, so if you fancy eating 12 mince pies after your family has gone to sleep, you’ll do well here.

Except for the guy at the self check out who seems to hover over me every time I’m there as if I’m shoplifting, I love my local store. The staff are nice, especially the weekend deli team. Just wish they’d fix the entrance to the car park, the one furtherest away from the store. It’s extremely tight and with traffic on Burke Road travelling quite fast as they enter, it is always dicey!

Nice verity of fresh food

This supermarket appears to be well managed in that they almost always have stock of other items here that nearby supermarkets run out of. Update: Feb 2022, they have recently renovated and are still upgrading some fridge cabinets. It has become a Coles Local.

The site of this Coles is where the first modern style Supermarket was built around 50 years ago. It's recently been redeveloped and has become more of a gourmet supermarket. You can get all your usual daily needs, but there is a limited range of everyday brands, and a preponderance of specialist and gourmet brands.
More like a Leo's or LaManna supermarket. Being sited in the original 50 odd year old building it's quite small compared to a newer Coles or Woolworths.
There is a relatively small off-street carpark, which can be completely full on busy days.

New and improved Coles , everything you need plus some extras, only negative I could say is the fresh bread and pastrys section is barely filled at night

Best coles in Melbourne now and the staff are responsible and respectful towards every need and want from the store and are willing to go the extra mile if it even evolves more work

Coles r always good value. Staff r helpfull. food is fresh. Used 2 visit more often when l resided down there.
