Sometimes go here for daddy daughter dates. Cozy little vibe with nice drinks and tasty food. Their chai is especially delicious, not too sweet like some places. Friendly staff too.

Been to this place many times under many different names foxy brown being one of them, now under new management for a few years so I thought I'd drop in and was pleasantly surprised really really good coffee the food we had was really nice, the new menu looks great can't wait to go back and try it I like the location too

One of the last beacons of a sanely priced cafe in northcote with a great ambience and vibe. Great outdoor and indoor seating.

This is my go to cafe because the coffee and chai are consistently good and the muffins are delicious and always fresh. The menu is also pretty impressive and quality is consistent. On warm days I love the avo, on cold days you can’t go wrong with the shakshuka. Good vego and meat options.

I like the option of sitting inside or out and the music is always good. The service is pretty relaxed, you are not going to be greeted with a fake smile or in your face service. But you will get consistent and efficient service and chill vibes.

I also like that it is not crammed inside, so you can chill on your laptop or sit with friends and chat.

Most important: dog lovers will love this place! The regulars are always around with their pups.

Situated among the tree lined streets of Northcote, this lovely little gem serves up wholesome meals and delicious coffee at fair prices. The staff are also friendly and the vibes are chill and unpretentious.

Decent cafe - really good coffee (industry beans), good value sandwiches and pastries (they’ve a wider dine in menu too), and a relaxed/ casual vibe.

If you’re looking for somewhere for a catch-up coffee that’s relaxed and informal then this is a great spot for that!

* Edit - Updating to 5 stars based on recent great experiences! :)* Charming little cafe located in between Dennis and Westgarth station, quiet surrounds, and a lovely, cosy street-facing oasis where you can enjoy some breakfast, a coffee and catch up on some work with your laptop. Great garden/outdoor dining area in the back. Yummy food. And friendly staff. The only reason I’m rating as 4 stars and not 5 is the first time I visited, my friend and I ordered when there were about 3 staff working, and maybe 5 customers tops - but seemingly our order was forgotten and after 45 minutes where patrons who came after we did had received their food (it was our fault for waiting so long to double check), we finally asked and were told it was still coming (not acknowledging that there had been a mix up), and our food came within 10 minutes. Not massive, and if they did have a hold up in the kitchen for whatever reason - they should have kept us updated. But was definitely an annoyance as it’s not clear how we could’ve been forgotten as the waitress walked past us multiple times. Every visit since has been great. Highly recommended! :)

This is our Saturday morning go-to. All the food is good, but my favourite is the shakshuka, especially on a cold day. Otherwise, a seat outside and the smashed avo is also great. The atmosphere is relaxed. They also do a really yummy chai latte.

The service was so so great, my waitress was so genuine and welcoming. She was expertly timed in her conversations with me and she was just overall happy to be there.

I had eggs Benedict and maaaaan it was the best I've ever had! So yummy, perfectly cooked and portioned! Absolutly awesome!

Aaaaand my coffee was heavenly smooth and exactly what I needed on that lovely morning :)
