Madfish Bay

One of the most picturesque and beautiful beaches around Denmark.
Over 3m waves crashing on the reefs as the waves sweep in from both sides.
If you time it, you can actually walk across from the beach to the reef with the water below knee height.
This is an adventure and well worth the visit.

Beautiful stone formation at the beach. Worth going if visiting the green pool.

Nearly as nice, and normally a lot less busy than Greens Pool.

Beautiful protected cove area with some shallow pools for easy wading. Water was blue and clear. Nice spot for a walk and a picnic. Bathrooms were clean and serviceable

A stunning sheltered beach and bay with crystal clear waters and some wildlife to boot! It's definitely just as good as Greens Pool or Elephant Rocks, so if those car parks are full, continue on down to Madfish Bay and have fun

Well done to whoever made this accessible to the masses. New road access is great, there’s even a toilet block here now too. Parking for plenty even trailers/ caravans get bays, with traffic island so you can turn around to exit pretty easy too.

Personally I think Madfish Bay outshines the more famous Greens Pool which is way too crowded in summer. The shallow water here is equally suitable for non-swimmers and beginners like me to dip in. And the view is no worse, even better.

Beautiful swimming Beach. Cross the sand bar at low tide and experience the magnificent rock pools and waterfalls on the "island"

Great little beach, very picturesque, outer islands keep the waves to a minimum. Plenty of places to explore.

Beautiful bay can sit and watch the waves not busy was some people fishing has toilets near by but really lovely

Wicked place for fishing and snorkelling whatever your beach activities consist of you will be able to do here just a short trek from the car park and there are a few different sand paths off the main one that can take ya quicker to certain parts

Perfect place. No facilities and limited parking however sheltered and beautiful.

First time I've actually been to this little bay in a long time, still impressive, completely sealed road now and would be a nice place for a swim and picnic, family friendly carpark and toilets.

Great beach for swimming and exploring with young kids.

Just a perfect spot for families. We had very little wind and plenty of space to set up.

Great spot - way less busy than the more famous Greens Pool/Elephant Rocks though only a little further on down the road. Has a toilet, great parking, great sheltered swimming/snorkelling. Favourite spot for fishing too!

Please note it can become extremely windy, so be careful before taking a dip.
