Great little winery door in Witchcliffe. Really nice to see different grape varieties (especially the Italians) in Margaret River other than the standard Chardonnay and Cab Sauv. Really compelling takes on some mainstream wines as well, Brad is an inventive gent. Interested, interesting and funny staff (James might get a marriage proposal from the East coast shortly). I really suggest a visit here rather than the same old big names constantly touted on web search results.

What a lovely space to enjoy small batch wine tastings in the heart of Witchcliffe 🍷 The Italian feel is definitely there and full of character, we will be back with some friends for your platters and more vino! Grazie Chelsea and Amato Vino team for supporting local family businesses. Love from Elisa and Kris 🥰

Beautiful location, at least 3 separate shops in the one spot. Very eclectic decor, organically developed and fabulously executed. Shops sell art, books, herbs and paraphernalia. Wine tasting is delicious also. Well worth a visit.

What an amazing place and wines! Each one of the 5 tastings was a superb drop, clean and flavoursome. Appreciated Sharon’s knowledge and passion for wines.
Bought 5 bottles.

We braced ourselves against the icy weather today and drove to Witchcliffe to taste wines at Amato Vino.
Our hostess was Chelsea, who explained the wines and prepared a delicious cheese platter for us, with local cheese, chutney, olives, quince paste, crackers and grissini.

The wines are quite different to most of the varieties that one usually tries in WA. Nice to see a Marsanne and a white with verdhello amongst its grape varieties. There is quite an Italian style to some of the wines.

At the back of Amato Vino is an old building which is slowly being restored. It is really worthwhile to look at it. It contains a coffee shop which is open in the mornings only. An artist uses another small space there.

A nice little surprise in Redgate Rd, which you might walk or drive straight past, unaware of the activity inside. Take the time to visit!

Popped into the Cellar Door on our way home today and was greated by James. James is a legend! Knows a thing or two about this superb wine. What was going to be a couple of bottles takeaway, ended with a mixed carton of goodies to see us through. The varieties are spot on,
will be stopping by, every coast trip! Thanks, Ben and Loz

Amazing wine tasting. Having known this business for a number of years when it was Wines by Brad he has taken it to another level with the latest varieties. Each of the 5 tastings were unique and all good quality. As a red drinker I might even be convinced to give the whites a go after this tasting. The cheese platter, all local product, is recommended to enhance this experience. James the host was fun, engaging, and very knowledgeable about the wines and made this tasting the best we have ever had. (Took a couple of dozen home). All set in an old heritage listed building I highly recommend it. PS. Don't forget to have a great coffee and cake at Witchy Brews next door.

Great little cellar door with so much character. Enjoyed our tasting and cheese platter. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed the wines - the biggest problem was deciding how many to buy!

We were so happy that we added this special place to our wine tour.
Very unique, charming & warm cellar door. Wines were interesting blends & we enjoyed learning about them while we enjoyed the afternoon sun in their garden. Definitely worth a visit when in margs.

Cool little Cellar Door right in the center of Margaret River town. Quirky “Lo-Fi” wines unlike most you’ll see around the region. A real hidden (inside Margaret River Collaborative) gem

Cute, eclectic and historic vibe. Multiple businesses in the one location. We went to Amato, had a lovely wine tasting and cheese platter. Very pleasant and worth the stop!

We loved our visit to Amato Vino. The tasting room is very cleverly created from upcycled farm equipment and other miscellaneous things. The wines were delicious! "Lo-fi" wines done very well with some unique varieties for the area. If you're looking for something different that is extremely well executed this is the place!
