Southcombe Caravan Park

Stayed here for 2 nights, nice and large park was quite busy while we stayed but the clientele are all super friendly and look out for each other!
Coin laundry was a bonus having somewhere to wash your clothes on a long road trip is much appreciated.
Rain head showers with good pressure and instantly warm. Facilities were all clean and well kept.
Only downfall was our site backed on to the sporting complex and there was cricket on but it's fine as they don't play into the night and you can walk to the beach or the nature reserve and enjoy some peace.
Walking distance from the main strip with cafes, iga and plenty of food. Also a short walk from the Wharf if you're after some fish and chips!

Right next to the Port Fairy Folk Festival. Great stay and super music.

Previously we have used the unpowered tent sites at the campsite for the Port Fairy Festival, and we were planning to come down this year between Christmas and New Year.
We have always found the facilities at the campsite to be very good and the location is spectacular. The campsite owners have always been friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately we have a family crisis to manage and we thought that we would just have to forgo the fees paid. After a warm and lovely chat with the campsite owner, we are overwhelmed by the generous gesture made. Thank you so so much.
We will return to your lovely campsite!

We've stayed elsewhere in Port fairy on another occasion, but we're so very glad we chose Southcombe this time, and will be our 'go to' for future. The Park is immaculately maintained, Sue was super friendly and informative, and we were so impressed with the privacy we had whilst there ... we did visit off-peak. The Park is surrounded by parkland and it's a short walk to the ocean. Very dog friendly. Perfect.

We were very pleased with our choice to stay here. Plenty of green grassy site's & well maintained. Not very busy when we were here so lots of empty space, different if packed out.
Amenities were very clean, ladies has hair dryers. Camping Kitchen had everything you need & T.V.
Laundry has ironing borads set up ready to use. Close to town.👌

A great position right next to lake and surf. Very sheltered sites with tall pine trees giving great privacy and protection from the elements. Not to mention the showers and amenities were top class.

Great park. Stayed in the unpowered area next to the beach. A bit windy but surrounded by nature. Other sites closer to the entrance are smaller, and it was busy as it was the Xmas break. Friendly staff and all facilities very well run. Good ambience and just 600m from town.

Spotlessly clean facilities, tidy, well maintained grounds, good shelter from the wind, highly recommended. Close to walks, wharf and beach, not far from town.

Just spent 3 nights here. Off season deal, pay for 2 get 3rd night free.$80 for 3 nights was awesome. Plenty of trees around each site for privacy. Excellent amenities, the camp kitchen had heaters,TV, indoor free Bbqs plus everything else you would need. Very dog friendly. Staff were very welcoming. Highly recommended

We would highly recommend this pet friendly caravan park. Exceptional amenities which were kept extremely clean. Friendly staff. A short walk to a dog friendly beach. Excellent camp kitchen. The park is spacious with plenty of quite private, sheltered sites. An easy stroll into Port Fairy shopping precinct and plenty of bike paths leading from the park. We will definitely return.

Stayed here for 2 nights, lovely lady at reception offered to change our site so we could be near the park for the kids which was extremely appreciated. Beautiful established grounds offer great privacy and big sites. The park itself is huge with I believe 500+ sites but very well laid out so you wouldn’t know it. Facilities were clean and location was spot on, you could walk or in our case ride into town and over to Griffith island within minutes.

Our family camps here every year and we have the most wonderful time. Amenities are clean, check in/out process is easy and location is fantastic. Easy walk/ride into the township and beautiful beaches.

Lovely grassy areas, great time of year to visit, its quiet. You'd have your own little sanctuary between mature hedges. Easy clean feet paths from your site through the park to township proper. Puppa friendly. Hedges are a great wind break. Very little awning disturbance = peaceful sleep!
