Budapest Schnitzel and Eating House

Had one of my best Hungarian experience here ! My Hungarian husband approved that this is some real authentic Hungarian meals!! Service was very attentive and staffs were all very nice! Enjoyed the food so much, thank you!!!

We ordered the goulash and chicken schnitzel which was almost as big as the plate! The servings were very generous and the food was delicious! Dessert we had the traditional apple and walnut strudel YUM! The waiters were very friendly too.

My favourite Hungarian restaurant. I have Hungarian heritage and my family consider this restaurant a special place. They make nokedli just like my nagypapa did. Have had lots of great memories here and always come back with my siblings when we want to treat ourselves. Very authentic cuisine!

This is THE place for schnitzel. Skip lunch and leave room for the sides (the mushrooms are amazing). Schnitzels like an elephant's ear with thoughtful sides of slaw and potato. Pork, veal or chicken available. Non-traditional 'parma' style versions also work with the Mexican being a standout. Then get lost in the pálinka and imported beers. Or not. Consistently great food in the 10+ years I've been dining there. Now it's my youngest kid's favourite 🥲

Oh yeah. The desserts aren't bad but I'm usually in a food coma and need couch. Crepes are my go.

Not very often that you come across Hungarian restaurant. We can't resist to try it whilst waiting for our movie. Ordered their meat lovers parma and was really happy with it. The meat was tender and the sauce complements the food well. It is a little pricey but I would still recommend it.

Firstly, if you are of an eastern European background, this restaurant will be very familiar and delight you with its authentic cuisine options range and meal sizes. Given most restaurants reduce portion size and hide behind the ever increasing food supply costs, its not often you find a restaurant that really understands the plate cost to portion size ratio; but here its different. Like in a real family situation, the meals are large and the tastes, authentic. I applaud the owners and the chef's there for the quality preparation and standards. The last visit was made even better with the constant attention and humorous interactions we had with our waitress. I would highly recommend this venue but would suggest if coming for dinner, have a light lunch. Will definitely be going back sometime soon.

Great atmosphere and great foods. The beef goulash was amazing and quite filling. The skinless sausage also tasted great.
A colleague of mine ordered their flambe crepe and he said it was fantastic.

This place will transport you to Eastern Europe. A real authentic dining experience with flavour-packed food.
We had the banquet and every item on the banquet was delicious. The chicken schnitzel was the winner of them all.
Staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The kitchen was also kind enough to accommodate allergy requirements and change the dessert for me.
Did I mention reasonably priced? Two people banquet, plus the honey selection pálinka, a corkage charge, and tips; $120.
This place is a must-try.

The BIGGEST schnitzel I have ever seen!!! The serving sizes are ridiculously huge!! The food was delicious and very traditional - took me back to my European heritage. Fully licenced - so no BYO. Good selection of wines. They have a large upstairs area - so good for large groups. If you’ve ever wondered what Hungarian food is like - then I’d recommend you visit Budapest Restaurant.

To say this food was good, great or even fantastic wouldn’t be fair to the chef. It’s not often in life you eat something that is just absolutely life changing. Top 5 foods I’ve ever eaten kind of vibe. I had the meat lovers Parma, this schnitzel was stuffed with bacon, cheese and Hungarian smoked sausage and topped with veal Bolognese and cheese to top it off. Each bite of this felt as if it was a gift from god. What an absolute treat. A cherry beer to tie it all together and the goulash is phenomenal as well. Thank you and will be back!

Came in today and was served by a beautiful and astounding young lady named Sivan. Not only was her name and atmosphere beautiful, but the amazing five star service provided by her really made my week. I will definitely be coming back here to enjoy the delicious food and customer service from my newest favourite hospitality worker Sivan. Sivvy if you see this … thank you pookie 😀😊❤

Their food is always good with a bit of slight difference. Even the boyfriend is not Hungarian anymore, I still love going back to Budapest!

My boyfriend's family is Hungarian, and I'm Taiwanese. I've discovered some similarities between the two cultures' cuisines when we have meals together, eg. both soup lovers and hot food eaters.

With my dinner at Budapest yesterday, I was surprised how similar in tastes we are! The Hungarian goulash with nokedli dumplings is exactly our Taiwanese beef noodles without soup! I'm in love with Hungarian food now! Thank you Budapest restaurant x

This place is really good! Great hospitality and you won't go home hungry. I highly recommend this place if you've never tried Hungarian food. I'll definitely be back again.
