Daylesford Country Retreats

Indus is a lovely country property in Daylesford that our doggo enjoyed as much as we did. She especially loved the fully fenced country garden, and we loved the outdoor entertaining areas, fire pit and BBQ.
The house was spotlessly clean and really well appointed including fabulously comfy beds.
The hosts seem to have thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible, even a chilled bottle of wine.
We'll be back.

Absolutely gorgeous, light filled space. The School house is a charming, comfortable beautifully curated space.
Excellent accommodation for dogs with fully fenced off garden areas, both front and rear. Extremely convenient location to all amenities In Hepburn and Daylesford.

We stayed at Lux on Max when we got married and it was absolutely perfect. The house is ultra modern and luxurious making it perfect for photos. It is well equipped and had everything we needed. Daylesford country escapes were amazing to deal with, they let us check in an hour earlier with no extra charge and were very helpful when we left something behind. 100% would stay again!

We recently stayed at Manna Gums in Daylesford which is a beautiful property that has everything you could want, beautiful views, all the creature comforts including a hot tub. The hot water tripped during our stay one night due to a blackout and Troy the manager came over and fixed it instantly. Great service and would highly recommend booking again with Daylesford Country Retreats.

What a beautiful stylish little place tucked in a tranquil surroundings! Just myself and my dog went for a quiet weekend away and absolutely loved our stay😍The owners thought of every little detail and my favourite was the beautiful bath crystals! The perfect spot for 2 couples as a bit big 1 person. Please do yourself a favour and experience this place with your doggo, as they will thank you also🐕

We booked Cricklewood cottage in Daylesford for a 2 night stay close to shops. We loved the stylishly renovated period home with off street parking and mini golf with gazebo and seating in back yard . Easy to check in and access the property via keypad code . Very easy booking process.

Everything about this little cottage went waaaay beyond our expectations. Communication was great and made the entire stay straightforward and trouble free. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous, unique and quirky styling which felt supremely comforting and welcoming…the finishes and details (milk and wine in the fridge, the fire set) created an extremely welcoming and comforting experience….like staying with old friends:)

The properties are lovely, but the staff are what make their stays special. I’d made a mistake with a booking during a particularly stressful time, and I couldn’t believe the support that the reservations team provided to me. They were kind and understanding, and went out of their way to help me. It was a kindness that I won’t forget.

A group of 7 family members stayed at the beautiful ’Dunroman’ property in Daylesford. A wonderful space where we weren’t in each others way. Stunning views across Daylesford. Beautiful bedrooms, comfy beds, great showers, large kitchen and lounge room with fireplace. We will be back.

Amazing Stay! These guys have thought of every comfort. spacious studio, well heated (and cooled for warmer months) comfy King Bed, Spa Bath, great location central to town.

We very much enjoyed our long weekend, thanks for having us!

Churchills in Daylesford.

The property is really beautiful and located on a large field with a pond and gazebo. It also backs onto a forrest with a walking path. The house itself is warm and cozy, very clean and well maintained. It is also walking distance to the Main Street and Coles. Checking in was a seamless experience. Best part is that you can bring your dog along! Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our two nights at Arenas Nth. Lovely walk close to Cliffys and the Sunday railway market. Within walking distance to the main town of Daylesford and The Farmers Arms Hotel. Great that we could take our doggies. Fully fenced yard with undercover outdoor area where they can sleep. Thankyou

Appealing, contemporary decorated villa in a surprisingly quiet location adjacent to a great walking/bike track around the lake. Excellent snack hamper left in the well appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds - all rooms were spotlessly clean. Nearby brunch at Pancho and takeway at Jackies On Vincent - both highly recommended.

Stayed 2 nights and will definitely be back. The unit at Bodhi-Wanderlust 5 was very clean, well stocked with lots of little touches not just tea coffee & sugar. Bed’s were really comfortable and the booking in was very easy. Will go back in Summer so we can enjoy the pool, tennis court and fire pit at night next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Como villa! It was clean and neat and spacious enough for our 3 night stay with a toddler and dogs. We especially loved the location directly on the lake and how it had all the little touches like wine, coffee & even some treats on arrival. Thankyou so much we hope to be back really soon!

The Bach is a wonderful place to stay if you want to spend quality time bonding with your hooman family and doggie family. The premise is beautifully decorated, clean and very cozy. It has a very well set up, gated and safe backyard for your doggies to do their businesses, to play and do their zoomies. It has a back deck which I find very useful to clean their paws or give them a bath after a day of hiking or doing some other outdoor activities where they might get themselves dirty.

3 day family holiday in Daylesford spent at Kura Skymning. The property exceeded our expectations. It was like staying in a 5 star hotel. The property is brand new and as a family we had a great time. The house has everything you will need to ensure your stay is perfect. Special thanks to Liza in reservations, who responded to emails promptly and attended to a concern we had within 10 mins of speaking to her. If we visit Daylesford again, Kura Skymning will be the place where we will stay! The photo is a view from the front of the property.

Very comfy little room. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was amazing, the little courtyard was cosy but delightful. Close drive into town and nearby attractions. Well stocked with amenities. Great little spot for a weekend away.

We had our getaway weekend at Daylesford, stayed at Delfryn. We loved everything here!! We came on a very cold day, but when we walked in, the heater was already on!!! Thank you for being really thoughtful. The property was very clean, everything you need are provided. Perfect location, 10mins walk to the center. We will definitely come back next time. Lemontree Cottage is a the perfect place to stay to enjoy exploring Daylesford. It is comfortable, warm and beautifully furnished. We stayed for 2 nights with old friends. We had a queen bed and a separate bathroom The kitchen is fitted with all you would need with lots of glasses, plates and cutlery. It is obvious that it is well cared for by the management . Such a great stay.
