Robe Chinese Restaurant

Really quick and the food was great! I ordered vegetarian fried rice and it came with tofu in the rice which was unexpected but fantastic! The honey prawns they made upon request as it wasn't on the menu, and the Kung po chicken was fantastic.
Food was ready 10mins after ordering at the counter, this was even with a semi full restaurant.
Very polite staff which were very nice.
Highly recommend this place.

Clever of them to manage expectations as you enter a nearly full restaurant with a sign at front to ask you o be nice to the staff as they are hard to find.
Lots of locals and lots of travellers. It is Melbourne Cup long weekend and the limited staff were running and the kitchen was pumping.
The food was so much better than we could have imagined.
Generous serving of juicy scallops and tender chicken and fresh vegetables.
Good local-ish wine.
Very reasonable prices.

Ordered take away as the fish and chips shop was closed. We really enjoyed our meal and didn't have to wait long at all. Nice way to end our trip in Robe.

very indulgent service, very comfortable restaurant atmosphere even the toilets are very clean. For such good food, I'm a little surprised that people give bad reviews on a restaurant as good as this.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meals. So much better than some of the Chinese restaurants we've been to in Melbourne lately. The san chow bao was fresh and tasty and their seafood laksa was delicious and very large. Good service and clean place.

Loved our dinner tonight. Very flavoursome garlic prawns and special fried rice. Kids loved the dumplings. We will return next time we are in Robe.

We dined in and the food was amazing, Chili beef , seafood combination and special fried rice with chicken satay for entrees. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked.

We had planned to have F&Chips tonight but the store was closed. After some exploring we decided on this restaurant. We had TA meals; sweet and sour pork and Szechuan beef, with steamed rice. The food was fantastic, up there as one of the best Chinese meals we have had anywhere. The prices are also very good. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Had a delicious meal passing through, had the prawn toast, nasi goreng and San choy bow among others and everything was delicious! Prawn toast was generously coated and nasi goreng was so big we split it and had leftovers! Would recommend and will return if we pass back through :)

A great dining experience! We shared meat combo of beef, pork and chicken with stir-fried vegies in sate sauce along with chicken fried rice. Couldn't have asked for a friendlier waiter and more delicious meal.

Ordered takeaway from the restaurant, we got special fried rice, honey chicken and red Thai curry chicken. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The honey chicken was fabulous and the curry chicken was great, wasn’t too spicy. Overall despite some of the terrible reviews on this place i would definitely give them a go, I would eat here again.

Had the lobster. Totally worth it. It was delicious, and the staff were very friendly.

The Garlic King Prawns had the largest most delicious prawns I've ever had in this dish anywhere.

Quick and good Aussie Chinese food. Staff were really friendly, and good to have a chat as we were the only ones in the restaurant on a cold midweek night.
