Mount Pleasant Caravan Park

What a great place to stay while exploring the Adelaide region. Thee toilet & shower blocks are spotless with lots of bins around. A bit dusty in places but we had a nice grassy area. Dave is a great host and caretaker 5 star for a showground park. Easy access dump. Good washing machines. Groceries at Birdwood. Even found a few bucks detecting :)

Recently upgraded this park features grass sites and large shade trees. Amenities are modern and kept very clean.

Nice park after recent upgrade good new facilities shame about the galahs & cockies damaging the new lawns but the lawn mower operator should have used a catcher to pick up the worst of the debris & it would have avoided it being traipsed into our tents & caravans

Open casual grassy park adjacent to show grounds with plenty of open space. Brand new centrally located amenities block with shower screens. Cleverly built concept. $10 for unpowered site. Walking distance to very nice town. Well worth stopping at.

Great council grounds, but shutting for Reno's soon. Plenty of ducks.

Really great setting friendly staff

Great caravan park, Dave caretaker very friendly and helpful. Great facilities, we used it as a base stayed 6 nights. Price for powered site very reasonable. Would stay again without hesitation.

Having arrived late in the morning, set up camp under the oak trees and a late lunch, it's so far very very pleasant with perfect weather. The next couple of days should be great! We will see how the night time goes as I expect the oak trees to fill with possums, gorging themselves on the acorns if there is any left from the corellas and cockatoos filling themselves on dayshift.

It is a lovely place to see and stay,friendly people not far from Adelaide,Gawler,Williamstown,Birdwood and many other towns around.Mt Pleasant has a Post office,Butchers,Chemist,Take a way or eat in shop,Great Pubs,and a Great Bakery and more.

This was a great little place for the price. It has a park for the kids, clean amenities, power and water hook-up and hot showers that don't just trickle out water. Awesome.

An ultra friendly and unhurried jewel in the crown of the Barossa Valley. Do yourself a favour and try Nic Nolan's sumptuous vegan cakes at Love to Eat. Her gastronomic alchemy is an experience never forgotten...WOW!

Excellent facilities very quiet at night. Close to Adelaide and the Barossa. Per night non powered $10 Washing machine $3.00.

Magnificent, so peaceful friendly, helpful service from Manager. Toilets and showers clean and newish. Would 100% stay again.
