Fantastic Indian food! The vegetarian and meat thalis are both filling. Lots of bus groups come through here. They offer a buffet option as well.

The Standpipe Restaurant offers a dual menu - Australian and Indian. I was keen to have the Indian menu. The staff are friendly and the service was prompt. They have a decent wine list. The food was good! The curries were delicious as were the samosas and naan breads. A good Port Augusta option.

Wow - absolutely sensational Indian cuisine! With an extensive menu, there’s bound to be a dish to keep everyone happy. Of course, we ended up ordering too much but we were able to bag up the remainder and take it home. Friendly service and beautiful venue

I had heard great things and I was not disappointed! The Indian options were great- butter chicken was delicious. Lots of other options which I chose from on my 2nd visit- chicken wrap.
All staff were friendly and efficient. I will be back on my next visit to Pt Augusta.

Walking distance from Discovery Parks Port Augusta. Excellent quality food using traditional cooking techniques. Ordered the samosa, dahl and goat curry. The goat curry was a highlight. Service was friendly and attentive. This place was busy on a Tuesday so would recommend booking to avoid missing out. Thankfully they were able to accommodate us without a booking. Highly recommended.

Had a great meal here. Good range in the menu, not just indian. We enjoyed the indian food though. Well priced and cooked/presented nicely. Good atmosphere with great service. Food was tasty. Prices are great. Thanks guys. We enjoyed our return visit.

I often drive between Port Lincoln and Adelaide and the North Indian cuisine at the Standpipe just draws me in. My passion is their Standpipe Thali (mixed tasting platter). But an onion bhaji entree is a must too. The best naans. Service is always impeccable.

Hands down the best Parma I’ve had, very tender and tasty, and can’t forget the good staff and great variety of drinks

Amazing Indian food. Friday and Sunday are Curry Night. $25 per head for all you can eat buffet Indian. Best I've ever tasted

Great Indian food. Vegetarian Thali was wonderful and massive serving. Naan bread was soooooo fluffy and tasty. Friendly service and super delish 👍

The service is lovely, the food delicious and the decor, though dated, is comfortable rather than over-classy.
It is an ideal place to stop for a feed, whether at the end of a long day or just for the heck of it.
I highly recommend the Standpipe Hotel Restaurant.
