Standpipe Golf Motor Inn

This was my second time staying at the Standpipe, and it's become a favourite! The staff are always helpful and friendly. I spoilt myself to breakfast delivered to my room and it was amazing! My room was clean and the bed was so comfy, a good sleep is so important when travelling! Can't wait to stay again, cheers all.

Rooms are decent sizes, tidy and clean with enough furniture for convenience without feeling cluttered. Lovely view out the back of the golf course, peaceful and quiet.
Great location for being right off the highway for convenience, but back enough from the road that the sound isn't a problem.

Beautiful restful ambience, very friendly staff.
Only here for the night but restful and happy. If your stopping for the night call in.
Recommend the standpipe Gold motor inn as a place to stay.
Close to outback the ocean and shops service stations etc.

Clean well appointed room. Wonderful restaurant.. best shower I've ever had in a motel.. piping hot and great pressure.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Neat bathroom. We stayed there for 2 nights and we were satisfied. The car can be parked directly in front of the entrance to the room, as in a typical motel. Nice and professional service. I liked the rest area the most, where there was a grill and a few tables where you can relax and watch the sunset. The restaurant attached to the motel makes it easy to travel after a long drive.

The late checkout was very welcome and helpful. Lovely room!!

We stopped here because we like their dining option of Indian food. They do it well, it's tasty and there's enough to eat at a reasonable price. The town is an obvious stop on the cross Aust drive. This place is in a top location and the dinners very good.

Fantastic hotel with clean modern decor and facilities. And excellent large restaurant with both western and indian food options. Highlights would be the showers and grade airconditioning which doubles as heating. Only a hop skip and a jump to the arid botanical gardens and a quick wiz into town. - Hamish John Appleby.

Rooms were clean & fresh. After a very long day driving we were grateful for the restaurant on site. A mix of Australian & Indian food, table service was quick & friendly. All our dishes were delicious! The butter chicken I had was sooo good! Very happy. Definitely stay here again.

The rooms are comfortable, the food is excellent, and the staff are exceptional. We had some health issues while we were there and they could not have been kinder or more helpful. It makes a real difference to stay in a place where staff make so much effort to make sure their guests are looked after. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much.

Great over night stay. Clean, well presented rooms (note the decor is a little dated) and they were comfortable too. Good that you can park right next to the room also. Check in and out was easy and the staff were very friendly.
We chose to stay here on the recommendation the restaurant was good and we were not disappointed. Delicious Indian cuisine!

We stayed in a pet friendly room and was ideal although the bathroom was clean it was a bit dated. The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent. They even set us up at a table on the back veranda so our dogs could be with us during dinner. Would highly recommend 👍👍

Room: Good sized room excellent value for money. Very clean.

Dining: oh my god....best Indian food I have ever had. Not the largest serving sizes but top quality food. Certainly didn't leave hungry mind you. Excellent value for money. Customer service was fantastic.

Overall: This will be our regular stop over spot between Adelaide and Port Lincoln. 5 stars for sure.

What a great find, able to enjoy an overnight stay with our little fur baby.
The restaurant was absolutely delicious with a huge variety to choose from and great value for money for both dinner and breakfast.
The staff were so friendly and efficient. Although extremely busy nothing was too much to ask..

The Indian cuisine was absolutely delicious and staff were more than accommodating. The crossroads of SA Pt Augusta is a small town but its what you do with your time spent that makes it more memorable 💖

Lovely rooms. Clean and spacious. The menu is half Aussie and half Indian with a lot of variety for you to choose from. Had the best sweet potato chips there too. Room service was prompt and friendly.
