Streaky Surf and Style

I’m a sucker for small town surf shops and this place is well worth the pop in. The biggest range of local surf shop merch I have ever seen with great quality and designs, plus a large range of other clothing and shoes. Lots of gorgeous jewelry and sunnies. Wish I lived closer because I’d be shopping here on the regular!

How good is it to walk into a great store with lots of variety for any age!! We were treated very well service was lovely and professional.
The owner really knows what they're doing! a great addition to the local community.

Funny little place. I love the quality and the Girls are really nice and helpful, but.
I consider myself to be average, normal Australian Male size, but.
There are only two (2) XXXL shirts in the entire shop and one doesn’t fit.
I find it ridiculous that an average sized mature aged bloke can’t get clothes to fit him.
If I was 25y/o and 60kgs I’d probably have more luck, but I’m not.
Retail needs to be aware that us older, bigger blokes are cashed up. Ignore us at your peril.

Great collection + brands, shame about the service. If you are local you are fine but if not, then be prepared to be eyed up and down like you are about to steal.
My husband and I visited on Saturday, bought a pair of $200 Birkenstocks and contemplated buying more but had kids in tow.
I went back today on my own and felt so unwelcome + when I asked if they had any more of the By Charlotte necklaces in stock, I was told no straight away by the young girl who couldn't even stop unpacking stock to address me. The older lady said that was all she had. Interesting because neither asked me which item I was after so that they could at least let me know if / when they may get more in. I came in with the intent to not only purchase a necklace but a pair of Birkenstocks for myself too.
Now, not only would I NOT buy from this place, I would go as far as cautioning friends to do the same.

There is NO excuse to treat customers poorly + make people feel unwelcome. BEING KIND costs nothing.

I'm calling this out because bullying, is not okay in any form.
