Make sure it’s near high tide and a decent onshore wind blowing. Whistling? More like a dragon’s breath or a giant’s yawn! You may hear it in the background against the noise of the wind in this video. Whatever. It’s very accessible and a lot of thought and resources has gone into making it easy to get to.

Awesome coast line, stunning. Sets of waves rolling in, it would be interesting to see the blow holes in action, sea fairly calm today.

Windy (40km +) and big swells (4m+) - in other words, perfect to watch Whistling Rocks doing its thing.

Sounded like a jet engine the first time I heard it when walking down the well set up path

Beautiful views from up top. You need to be quite fit to tackle the 500 steps down and back. The build has provided quite a few landings for some relief. Recommended

This is a great place to visit of you have a love of the ocean like I do. The views are incredible and seeing the water spraying out of the blow holes and then whistling/roaring under you is incredible. They have also built a wooden walkway above the dunes to give you a relatively easy walk to reach viewing platform. Well worth the visit.

A fantastic place to visit if you are in Streaky Bay. Just a short drive from Streaky Bay city and approx 360m of board walk will take you to the Whistling rocks and blow holes.

Story of whistling:
Whistling Rocks is an epic phenomenon where waves force air and water through small holes formed in the eroded cliff edge. As a result, ghostly whistling sound and mini sprays of seawater escaping from the rock shelf.

We went in summar and found the place very pleasent.

There is a resting and toilet facility. However, there is no disability access.

A dedicated boardwalk makes it easy to access the site.

Windy when we visited so leave hats in the car or you'll lose them. The kids loved the sea spray we got showered in from the waves. Great views of a rough coastline. The rocks don't whistle as such, they roar with each wave coming in. There is a toilet in the car park area but it is a long drop.

The Whistling Rocks were not actually whistling when we were there but the area below was impressive none the less. The Blowholes on the other hand were in full blow and fantastic to experience. We got very wet there but wonderful experience.

Lots of walkway. Best time is high tide to get the full effect of the blow hole and whistling pipes. We were there low tide bit it was still spectacular

This is an incredible place to visit however if ambulation is a problem for you then it may be difficult to actually get to the Whistling Rocks as there are a lot of steps going down and then it's all uphill on the way back. If you take your time and take extra care then it is a lovely walk to them where you also have great views of the ruggered coastline.

Worth the drive and the walk down (and back up) the stairs! The organ pipes were blowing after every large wave crashed up the rocks. Very impressive.

A great scenic drive to take with the family (about 30km, dirt road). Nice wooded walkway, sturdy and easy to navigate. The scenery is amazing.

Well maintained road to the Rocks (unsealed). Walkway to features fairly well made and maintained. Toilet. Natural features were quiet interesting as was the flora.

Great place to see some spectacular coastline & the amusement of the "whistling" rocks. Blow hole wasn't blowing because we were there on low tide.
