Pagoda Chinese Restaurant

Absolutely one of the best Chinese restaurants we've been to in Adelaide. Don't expect fine dining and beautiful presentation but this was by far the tastiest and best value for money Chinese food in Adelaide. Banquet was $30 each and included so much food we had to take it home. The absolute star was the satay skewers - I've never had so much sweet and spicy peanut sauce piled onto my starter before and I loved it! Look at my photos!

On certain weeknights, the interior of this place is quiet. If you're like me, you'll love that. The staff are friendly, the food, is consistent and delicious. This place knows- after being around since the 60s, how to make great food with no cuts to quality for minimum price.

The food also travels fantastically if you decide to order it and stay home, but the atmosphere of the restaurant its self, honestly, is peaceful and relaxed, and I do recommend that experience in its self highly.

The food quality and quantity was impressive. I can’t remember the last time I was so impressed by my meal. It’s getting harder and harder these days, but this restaurant gave me a huge amount of food on my plate, and it was so delicious. The hot sour soup had huge pieces of meat swimming in it and my wife kept stealing it because it had amazing depth and tang.

This is a great place to visit for good food presented by nice people.

Friendly staff and an awesome feed. There was 10 of us and orded different dishes to share and we all couldn't eat it all. Would definitely go back again.

Best chinese food i have had in so so long, banquet 2 gives you so much food that we had to take away 2 dishes in order to try their delicious ice cream, the ladies are really nice and welcoming and the place is kept very clean. The toilets were very clean for a restaurant and looked like they were maintained and scrubbed constantly, if i could give more than 5 stars i would

First time eating in, many times eating their food. Foods good! ... slightly lacking in variety for vegetarian dishes though. I do love the Ginger broccoli dish. ... the menu didn't even offer a vegetarian version of Fried rice!... I realise I could ask for this to be specifically made, but it is nice to just order things straight from the menu. A privilege carnivores take for granted!

The service was terrific and the food was so amazing. The banquet for 2 was absolutely delicous and such large servings. We will most definitely be back next time we are in the city. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Great place. Harks back to the old days when you could get “traditional” Chinese food for very little. Décor that hasn’t been changed in 40 years just adds to the atmosphere.

One of the best 'modern Chinese' restaurants in SA. Very friendly service, clean, consistent quality, varied menu, large portion sizes and great value banquet options. No wonder they have been in business for so many years!

Always our first choice for family dinners. Food is delicious and very fresh, always consistent, and service is wonderful every time.

Amazing Satay Chicken the best I have tasted full of flavour and just the right amount of sauce not to mention the size is well worth the money, the staff are fantastic and go above and beyond highly! Recommended!

This restaurant never disappoints. The food is always fresh and servings are huge. Stay are very accommodating. I just wish they were down south as it is a bit of a drive from Seaford.

We found Pagoda accidentally and loved it straight away. Great food, service and excellent value for money. We have eaten here several times since and will continue to do so. Definitely one of our favourite eating spots.

I like it because it's fairly much the same as when it was The Great Wall restaurant. We all got to share our food. And had a great time just as we used to.

Beautiful food, we had the $30.00 banquet and we were all so happy with the quality and quantity of the food, the service was great and the staff very helpful and happy. Try it once and you'll go back again. 😄😄

Great lunch deals and the food has always been nice.
Have not been disapointed and have been going for years. Have friends and family that have also been enjoying this restaurant for a long time.
Sizzling steak, mongolian lamb, satay, curry and the pagoda ribs are our favorites. The dim sims are also great.
