Ardrossan Seafood & Schnitzels

Ordered battered fish and chips and a burger. Very reasonably prices and friendly staff. Food tasted fresh and yummy. Would definitely recommend. Loved the ambience especially the plant in the picture 😅

Went here for lunch and had the garfish and chips and Fish Burger. The fish tasted fresh and fantastic and the chips with the chicken salt they use tasted very nice. Fish Burger with mayonnaise was also excellent. Guy with the tattoo had great customer service as well considering how busy and under the pump he was. Would definately go back again.

Had the most perfect fish and chips today I have had in along time. The staff member that served me and cooked my meal (nice young man with glasses) was so pleasant to deal with and he had good old fashioned quality customer service which you rarely get these days. Definitely will be going again when passing through.

We ordered the chicken schnitzel burger with the lot and it was delicious. It was a real old school burger, haven't had a better one in about 20 years. We will be back for sure!

Just had a snitzel chips and gravy, absolutely spot on the snitzel was probly 2cms plus thick and it was beautifully cooked, chips and gravy was spot on as well. Thank you

Come into your shop yesterday during the day, and it was just a bloke with tattoos out the front. He seemed under the pump but spoke to everyone welcoming as he could despite being under pressure and got there food out as quick as he could, and he cooked my calamari pack to perfection, will definitely be back.

We were on our way home from our camping trip and Ardrossan was our lunch spot! Stopped here and was greeted with great service, efficient cooking time and the food was delicious! We will stop here again on our next adventure! Thank you!

Excellent food and service with friendly staff and great prices. I had the chicken parmi with Ned Kelly topping and my friend had garfish and chips all cooked to perfection. Well worth the drive from Adelaide and we will definitely be back very soon.

One piece of fish wasn't nice, very sour taste and thin. Fish meat was quite dark, couldn't eat it. 🙁

The other piece of fish my wife had was perfect!👍

The chicken serves are massive and not overdone with crumbs, we chose the chili topping and whoa. . Hot and amazingly delicious 😋
We also had two beef half schnitzels with mushrooms. . Oh my. . If there was a heaven it's in that schnitzel for sure.
We didn't order any salads but they looked fresh and sooo good. . The desserts looked good too.
Super clean premises and well presented. Loads of parking out front and room for a car and van to park up.
The staff were very friendly.

Delicious fresh King George Whiting, which hubby devoured. My Calamari rings and prawns were scrumptious. Chips lovely and crisp. So pleased your lovely shop is so close to the Caravan Park.

I've been to the capital of Fish n Chips being Yorkshire, England recently in June this year. Everywhere I went I had to judge the quality. Leeds market came up the best in the world with the Ardrossan Fish n Chip shop ( and schnitzels) coming up a very close second. But in Oz they were the best I've had anywhere. Awesome thanks.

Friendly customer service. Food exceeded our expectations. Chips were golden with a perfect amount of crisp, fish was nice and fresh. Good sized portions. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back sometime :)
