Phonatic Restaurant

I’m great that my friend and I visited this restaurant after I saw the review about it last night. The viet crispy pancake is beyond delicious. The portion of spirits are generous too ($8 per glass only). Frankly, nothing is unpleasant. I’m very pleased after the dinner 😁

the pho tai nam was great!! nice flavour and quite a big serving with a generous amount of meat and vegetables. i appreciated the hospitality of the staff who checked in on how we were going, refilled our water when they saw it was nearly empty, and were just generally friendly and approachable. the decor was also quite pretty which made for a pleasant experience. came in at around 9pm on a saturday so it wasn’t busy, and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food. overall a great spot! would definitely come again!

On my last three visits to Adelaide I have had the good fortune to have dined here. Tried a variety of dishes and I have loved all. Tastes very fresh and full of flavour. I cannot vouch for the authenticity as I’m no expert, but I don’t care how authentic it is as it tastes so bloody delicious. The service staff are extremely hard working, friendly and worth getting a recommendation from. I will be back next trip to Adelaide to try some more.

Nicely decorated. Lots of interesting things to look at. Had some rice paper rolls, spring rolls, special fried rice, satay beef stir fry and pad Thai. Weren’t disappointed in the slightest. They have a good wine, beer and spirit selection too. Good for a family of 4.

This is 5 star if you love your Vietnamese. We have eaten some Vietnamese food over our time and this is certainly a must if you’re in Adelaide!! Tick tick tick!!

Highly recommend this place. Hands down the best food and service in my experience. Food was really good, huge portion, authentic and fantastic flavors. The service was top notch with so much attention to us party of 7 people. One staff accidentally took an unfinished plate as our friend went away for a little while. Honest mistake but they completely gave him a new bowl of the meal. We went back again for their Bahn mi and it was fantastic.

Tasty & well balanced flavours. The menu is a great size & there are plenty of options but not to the point you are overwhelmed.

I tried bo kho & iced coconut coffee for the first time; both were really good. The banh xeo was a bit on the greasy side. I liked the atmosphere as well.

Really fantastic pho, I had a large rare beef, brisket and beef ball pho and it was delicious and very generous. Came out super hot and quick, perfect for a cold almost winter night. I liked the Thai green milk tea as well. Friendly staff and cool decor as well

Wandered in looking for somewhere nice to eat lunch on a Sunday. Very impressed and happy to find this gem, food and services very pleasant. Will definitely be back.

Best Delicious Vietnamese Restaurant, I'd like to know the name of this dish! The menu is so hard to see.

Street style Vietnamese in a rustic industrial setting accentuated with plenty of wood, brick and iron. Fast, fresh food and friendly service make for a pleasurable dining experience. Well stocked bar. Food is fresh and flavoursome. Inexpensive. Tasty. Friendly. Great ambience. Recommended.

This place has never let us down! Service is always friendly, food always tastes amazing and it’s always reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

This is a hidden gem with gorgeous food and atmosphere. Must try the Laksa! If you are booking on the same day as dining, I recommend ringing ahead instead of booking online. Amazing!

It's probably the best Pad Thai I've had in Adelaide so much flavour. The bao buns were so delicious with the super crispy chicken. The sauce inside was sweet and tasty. The lemon lime and bitters was delish. Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere in the restaurant. We already can't wait to go back.

Very tasty phó. I had the beef and the Mrs had chicken. Both very good. Probably a little small for the regular for the price, but pretty cool venue to get a nice atmosphere
