Go Surf School

My Daughter did the 3 day surf course. With wetsuits and surfboard supplied it was a great experience for surf starters. My daughter found the teachers made sure every student got a chance to catch some waves, they were all very supportive of the class. From a parents perspective the teachers were very knowledgeable and happy to give advice and were very helpful for the large range of students in our group. I would most definitely recommend this surf school to anyone on the fence about learning to surf. We are going to do the stand up paddleborading lesson next week.

2024 was our second year of surfing lessons with Go Surf. My 3 children attended the 3 day kids holiday program and it was fantastic. The lessons were taken by a combination of Harry, Neil and Sam, who were fun and professional. It always amazes me how quickly the kids are able to get up on the board, cheered on by the coaches. My three would like to specifically thank Harry, who was so kind, supportive and enthusiastic. We’ll be back next summer holidays!

This was my kids’ third year of SurfGroms with Go Surf. As ever, it was the absolute highlight of their summer! The Go Surf crew are all excellent - highly experienced and professional instructors who ensured every kid had a brilliant time. Their gear is high quality, the staff are inclusive and their many years of experience are evident in the efficient, friendly operation. Go Surf’s lessons are well structured, keeping the kids engaged while covering important aspects of surfing technique and water safety. With the encouragement of their coaches, the kids not only managed to catch waves and stand up on their own, but also had great fun learning tricks such as switch foot, yoga pose and the “Coffin Sally”!

Our boys each hired a surf board last week from these guys. The instructor ‘Harry’ was super helpful and even spent fifteen minutes instructing the boys to get them started. Very friendly and very reasonable. Highly recommend.

My three kids had an exciting morning learning to surf today. The instructors were patient and encouraging especially with my nervous youngest child.

We will definitely be back again!

Great team, easy to organize and accommodating. We hired boards and wetsuits over two days and our three teenagers (who have had lessons in the past) had a ball all afternoon.

We are absolutely loving our 1st real surfing experience in Port fairy with Go Surf School. Harry and Sam are fabulous with our little ones. I am normally a helicopter mum but I felt totally relaxed watching the girls in the water with two very competent teachers. After two hours of non stop fun in the waves the smile on their dials is priceless.

What a fantastic surf lesson! My 5 year old had such a great time learning how to surf. The instructor, Harry was patient and really encouraging. My son was standing up on a surf board, catching waves in no time. It was great value for money, the set up was fantastic, the staff were attentive and I highly recommended it as an activity for the kids.

Highly recommend Go Surf Stand up Paddle Boarding sessions at Port Fairy. Instructor Keith was fantastic with the kids, and very interactive! The additional hour after the session allowed the kids free time to practice and gain more confidence. Fantastic location also! Thank you Keith.

Our 8 year old son had an absolute blast at Go surf. The 3 day school holiday surf program. The instructors all so knowledgeable, vibrant and focused on all the children having the best time possible. While sharing tips, safety rules and knowledge of the ocean, surfing and taking part.

My son attended Go Surf Port Fairy, the lessons gave him the basic knowledge to learn how to surf. He really enjoyed himself, the teachers were great with the kids, it was the perfect mix of instruction and fun.

We really loved the 3-day holiday program with Go Surf. The team are really experienced and support the kids, whilst making it fun. The two hour lessons are the perfect time - enough time in the water to practice what they are learning, but short enough to make sure kids aren’t too tired. Well done Go Surf 👏

Fantastic experience with Keith, both my partner and myself had never done standup paddle boarding, Keith was so very helpful from the beginning to the end, even for myself who struggled he ensured I got there in the end. Amazing weather and great challenging experience and most certainly a great location to learn and experience.

Keith and the team at GoSurf School are easy to work with. He offers affordable rates, and for us (Infuse Travel), having him and his team run our surfing sessions was a great success for an outdoor program we were running in South West Victoria. Highly recommend GoSurf as a Vendor for any outdoor education/travel company!

What a ripper experience for the kids and a great way to start the day. Fourth year back for us and easily the best. Harry and Sam were incredible, very engaging, loads of fun and their experience with kids is evident.

Had an absolute ball with Go Surf in Warrnambool. This was my first ever attempt at surfing and thanks to Keith’s belief and dedication to getting me standing up on the board, I did it 😁 Very well run and organised, fantastic, experienced, and kind teachers and so much fun in a safe class format.
