Windmill Cafe

On the last day of our Rail Trail journey it was such a delight to discover this little gem on the the main street of Toora.The Cafe encompasses a few old shopfronts connected by a covered walkway. After an exceptionally windy bike ride we ordered a pie with side of chips....it was the best lunch under $10 on the whole Trail. The pies were home made and bursting with tender meat. Service was friendly without being fussy. A stop worth making if you're in the area.

Rare to see smashed avo at $15 in these post Covid days. Not only it's reasonably priced, the quantity (the big brekkie is indeed very massive), quality and taste are all there too. The coffee is pretty good too.
Carrot cake is a must try!

Probably the best vegan scramble tofu we’ve had! And the coffee was perfect too.

Plenty of seating options available inc. semi indoor and courtyard that surrounded with landscape and water feature. Foods selection is good too inc. light meals, coffees, drinks and dessert. Located in one of the largest historical building (Toora Bargain Centre) in town. Don't forget to have a little browse on some of the historical buildings on the street. Relaxing and cute little town.

Amazing vegan food! Travelling on an empty stomach and found this Cafe!! The food was amazing!

There is a lot of space, rug up, there is heating but some seating may be cooler. Worth it, l had the falafel bowl, it was huge and very tasty, coffee was the best. Others had the falafel wrap and chicken burger, all happy with these meals.

Always great food and Coffee

Can't go past the delicious and generous gluten free chicken, cheese and salad wrap. Fresh and tasty! Good coffee and always enjoy the homemade cakes

Windmill Cafe is a new one in Toora. Surprising large inside and a garden outside seating. Enjoyed the coffee and cakes. Have a proper meal next time, I'm certainly coming back. Very friendly and helpful people.

Great chearful service, wonderful food and one of the best coffees in south Gippsland. Worth the divert from the hwy. Wonderful rustic old historic building that it is run from is also a great talking point.
