Great River Korean BBQ Restaurant

Went on an impromptu dinner with a friend last Wednesday. Oh. my. goodness. The food was absolutely amazing but the real winner was their employee Stan Lee. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. Stan Lee in particular was very professional and very observant. We were outside the restaurant googling the Menu and he shows up with the menu. He explains the procedure which was the deal maker - we decided to go in and try. He was absolutely amazing. Gave us amazing service, came to adjust the fire and gave us tips on making amazing BBQ. We had the $40 all you can eat buffet and lemon, lime, and bitter which he made a huge jug and it was absolutely amazing! If I had all the money in the world, you bet I would eat here every. single. night!

Stan Lee, you are THE BEST customer service employee I have ever met (and I have seen my fair share of good employees). Kudos to him and the other staff that made that night absolutely wonderful.

The food in the restaurant is pretty good and also the presentation of the food is amazing. My favorite is the beef ribs. There are good services and also the waiter’s attitude is also satisfied especially the man with the golden hair I like the way his taking it’s respectful and interesting. Will recommend this place to my friends. 🥰🥰🥰

I dun realise the score is so low, but I found the restaurant is not that bad. I agreed that they are under staff but the waiter was so hard working.
We ordered their buffet, actually is ALL you can eat from majority items from their menu and it costs only 34 dollars, with this point, the score deserves more, since they don't have any time limitation. 34 dollars in Adelaide can eat 2 ramen only but there is all you can eat. And meat was served so quickly and they are delicious.

We've been coming here recently for our date nights as we're trying to spend more time as a couple, without breaking the budget. Quality time with quality food. We've been coming on weekdays not very busy times and we enjoy the service and food. Keep up guys and hope we will always have a good service and food.

First time we tried to go, the place was PACKED! It was either a sat or sun night. We couldn’t get in so we made reservations for another day (which it was empty 😂).

Service was ok even tho I read it is bad. Possibly cause there were only about 6-7 tables there when we went. The flame on the grills were kinda out of control! The table next to us had a huge fire going and ours was coming out of the grill top so we burnt a few pieces of meat.

Wagyu meat melted in your mouth! Mixed rice was good and really spicy! Korean chicken was ok, wouldn’t get it again. Steamed egg was ok but different from the ones I’m used to. Beef tongue was good and my bf liked the spicy pork. Sad they didn’t have miso paste but they did have the sesame oil and salt sauce, you just need to ask for it.

Warning: I did get sick later that night. I don’t know if it was from the food here, the ice cream I had after somewhere else or if it was a stomach bug that I caught. But I was sick for about 3 days after and still not quite right a week later. But again, idk where it was from so this hasn’t effected my 5 star rating.

Great food, friendly service, comfortable seating

Fantastic place and great value buffet. Enjoy some quite nice cuts of meat with beautiful marinades and sauces. They use a combination of charcoal and gas to get amazing flavours in the BBQ without losing control of the temperature.

Really enjoyed the food was so delicious! 😋 Definitely coming back will be fantasizing about it until then!

I recently dined at this Korean BBQ buffet restaurant, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, with a wide variety of perfectly grilled meats and flavorful side dishes. The service was exceptional, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I had a great time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Solid spot for seafood! Came here with a party of 5. We got seated promptly. The service was great. The menu has a wide variety of food. I would definitely come back when I'm craving Korean BBQ.

We walked past this restaurant, and so never saw the rating on here, it deserves more than 3.3 stars. The buffet (all you can eat) option is the way to go, $39 on a Friday/Saturday night, cheaper through the week. The meat was great, go the Korean rice I think it was, potato salad and whatever else, if you factor in the price for what you get it's well worth coming here.
The food came out almost instantly, wait staff were busy and forgot the fried chicken, but they brought it out when we reminded them.

Just went for lunch with my friends arrived there at 12 o clock with a reservation however, there was no one around. Around 6 minutes later the man appeared in the front door other than that 6 minute wait it was amazing and personally a 5 star experience very simple and straight up. The man had some sense of humour and was very kind when helping us to order food. My friend and I chose the spicy pork belly, marinated beef ribs and drumsticks (I forgot true name) all were delicious, these were supported with the side dishes of mix fried rice and lettuce. Everything was easy and simple and very reasonable for price, we payed $34 for our all you can eat lunch. Meat was both tender and quick to cook. The cooking plate although black, still was cleaned and washed from my viewing. Everything was clean and delicious. The waiter who was very kind and helpful was always checking in on us and making sure everything was good. Apart from all this my only two problems is the amount of dust on the box that the utensils were in and the dust underneath the tables as well as the small amount which in this case only one person was serving us. I guess it’s understandable since it was only lunch time but two people would I guess make things easier. But putting aside these small problems personally this place is underrated, has a lot of potential and is a great place to eat.

First time experience of Korean Barbecue, it was amazing, the staff was very polite and welcoming but they seemed very busy. I had too wait a bit longer for the Korean Fried Chicken but then it was worth the wait. We were well served by this sweet Korean guy with funny hairstyle 😂. Definitely coming back again!
