Really good camp ground. Beach a short walk away. more of a first in best dressed but all round really good. Toilets are clean and dont smell, just bring your own tp and you are set!

Terrific bush camp, right on the beach. Close to Ardrossan.

Basic dry drop toilets. There is a recycling bin collecting 10c cans and bottles- but all other rubbish must be taken with you. Both times we visited, the area was litter free. It's nice to camp with fellow campers who respect the environment.

One of the best spots for crabbing on the whole peninsula. At low tide take your rakes, bucket and crab measure- you'll find a few crabs directly infront of the camp ground. We saw other campers using drop nets from kayaks- only possible at high tide.

The beach is very shallow for a long way- which makes it great for crabbing but not so great for swimming. Very safe for little kids to paddle.

Spent 2 nights at the Parara Bush camp. $20 per night. Fees paid online to Yorke Peninsula council. Compost toilet available, but take your own toilet paper. No other amenities on site. Lovely large camp ground. A few ks past Ardrossan

Loved bush camping here lots of campers but we found our own camp area .great fun crabbing .no good fishing off the beach for us .the tide going out is amazing .loved the night crabbing too.
For council this place gets alot of paying customers they need extra toilets maybe a rain water tank .
When paying coucil to camp you think there be more amenities .
But personally I'll go back.

A great little free camp. Only minutes away from Ardrossan and great crabbing beaches. Has a toilet block, other than that you need to be self contained for a longer stay. Black Point Or Julia and Pt. Vincent are only a short car ride away. As a plus a local.winery is close at hand. The traveller will be surprised at what Ardrossan has to offer. Come and see for yourselves. You will not be disappointed.

Good for camping, beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset, plenty of space available, and clean toilet. I’d give it 5 stars if it was free, there is no drinking water, nor power. When it’s a paid campsite (although the price is very cheap) you expect a bit of more facilities, the only thing you get here is a drop toilet (BYO toilet paper) and a toilet sink to wash your hands (BYO hand washing liquid)

Its a lovely spot by the beach. The weather was nice but abit windy altho its just that time of year. There were drop toilets available.
Can have fires
Dogs allowed
You can pay and stay up to a month at these bush camps and stay at any one of them which we find a great deal, to be able to travel around.
Just down the road there is a lookout which is worth the look.
Also right near campground the memorial for the whales.

It's pretty good. Close to the beach. $20 per night is a bit much for these bush camp sites. There is a toilet here.

Great place to camp. There is plenty of room for large vans or buses. It was great crabbing if you got a rake.

Bit pricey for what you get.
However we were desperate and in a bus
Paid for 2 nights but stayed for one and can't get a refund because no one is there to see if you stayed.
Grassed park bay
Toilets available if you require them.

Good facility.
Bit pricy though as there is nothing but a Dropbox provided
