Redwing Farm was the perfect getaway to relax and unwind.
The accommodation was beautiful, clean and comfortable
Waking up to complete tranquility with the animals at your doorstep.
The kids loved being able to roam the farm safely and excitedly get off devices to feed and interact with the animals each day.
The spa in the barn was a bonus too!!
We will definitely be back!

We’ve stayed at Redwing twice now, and will be back again. It’s the perfect holiday with the kids! We love meeting all the friendly farm animals and The Barn is such a comfortable space to stay. Especially when you are graced with a visit from the farm dog who politely asks to be let inside.
You get a real sense of space being here; endless fields, beautiful sunsets, no crowds, just friendly animals and friendly hosts if you need anything!
It’s a great location to use as a base for exploring the Copper Coast and Yorkes, with a short drive to the nearest beach. We prefer to stay here than on the coast, it’s so peaceful and quiet and the kids have so much fun with the animals when we’re not at a beach.

Our second trip to Redwing farm, last time stayed in Little Patty which we just loved, this time staying in the Barn. It was a perfect stay. The Barn is rustic, equiped with everything you could need, clean and very comfortable. Just loved the spa! The kids had a ball riding their bikes around the farm and seeing all the animals. For me it was a perfect break to stop, relax and recharge. Nicola and Damien are great hosts and I loved seeing all the improvements they have added to the farm. Highly recommend this farm stay.

My husband and I just spent the weekend celebrating our first wedding anniversary here. What an absolutely special place! So welcoming and calm. Animals on your doorstep, a sunrise so picturesque, an incredible place to stay. Thank you guys for sharing this place with us! We cannot wait to get back and spend more time on your beautiful farm! Our family absolutely loved our weekend stay at Redwing Farm! It was all we had hoped for and more. The accommodation was gorgeous, clean and ultra-comfortable and included little perks of coffee, spa, fireplace and little surprises such as a story book written on the 2 lovely dogs! Our boys, almost 2 and 6 were so excited to roam around the beautiful and safe property to visit the animals morning, day and night. Everywhere you turn there's something new to see and do. Best family vacation ever. We didn't want to leave. Can't wait to see what they do next! We will be back.

A fabulous stay on Redwing Farm!

Little Patty provided the perfect accommodation for a weekend getaway with our 18 month old, with so much to see and do on the farm as well as surrounding towns.

A few highlights of our stay were definitely being so close to all the farm animals, seeing Godfrey the cow and watching the sunrise so peacefully over the gorgeous property.

Not long ago I visited Redwing Farm on Yorke Peninsula. What can I say? Just entering the White Cedar tree-lined driveway and heading towards The Barn and Shearer’s Quarters, gave a feeling of perfection even before I alighted from my vehicle. And what a wonderful surprise when I did, with neatness and planning by the bucket load.

There were very well presented signs explaining about everything and indeed, I was much wiser and had far more appreciation about farm life by the time I left.

The Shed looks like a fantastic place to have functions of all kinds. Weddings, work do's, birthday parties and so on.

The proprietors seemed to have a sixth sense in knowing what I would want out of such an experience. I should imagine that kids would be enthralled by the hosts of various animals, all seemingly happy and obviously friendly to visitors.

Everything about this place has charm attached, from the Wishing Well to the veggie garden, which guests are invited to partake in the produce, to the feeling of actually being on an Australian farm was just the tops.

Beautiful family getaway. Lovely to see a variety of things around the farm to see and do - the kids loved saying good morning to the animals right outside their window, feeding the donkeys and sheep and collecting firewood in the little trolley. Only 20 minutes from other attractions / shops, but far enough away to relax and wind down. Great hosts. We'll be back!

Beautiful accomodation, clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are lots of animals, friendly and accessible. You can come and go as you please, and visit the animals as many times as you like. The farm has many extras touches that make the stay special, like fire pits, a hay bale maze, bikes to ride, a wishing well, fairy doors to find and more. Everything exceeded our expectations and we’ll definitely be back!

We had our wedding at redwing farm on 15.1.22, it was the most perfect day! Everyone complimented at how beautiful the shed was. Thank you so much to Nicola & Damien for having us there, they both were so easy & friendly to work with! We also stayed in the barn the night before & of our wedding, it had everything you need & was so clean & homely.

Redwing offers a wide variety and selection of spaces and activities that cater for all types of groups and people from all over Australia. I appreciate that they always endeavour to try something different and bring something new to their community to open up opportunities within our local and surrounding areas. The Fringe this year was a blast and a great night with a spectacular atmosphere having local businesses invited to participate. The animals are always a highlight having a wide range of animals for the kids to interact with and especially one of the main attractions Godfrey the giant cow! I loved waking up to some incredible views in the morning and loved saying goodnight to the stars at night from the barn.

Great place to stay,excellent accommodation and very clean,couldn't fault it.The animals are so friendly the kids loved them.Having a bike shed so the kids can ride around in a safe environment is wonderful.Only a 12 minute drive to beautiful Moonta and beaches. Great coffee places and restaurants to enjoy.

A perfect place to relax, unwind and immerse yourself in nature. A beautiful, very well-maintained property and the facilities are absolutely first class. Hosts Nicola and Damien go above and beyond and ensure a very memorable experience. A must do for families - kids loved getting up close and personal with the animals.

Our favourite go to ever. We can't wait to get back there. We love it all but the barn is our favourite to stay in. Do yourselves a favour and give this place a go. Not far from alot of amazing experiences too like moonta and also sunnyhill distillery!

Lovely accommodation, and total relaxation, on a sprawling, working farm. The perfect place if you want to escape the city hustle, but still have all the mod cons. They even have a beautiful reception/ function centre in a wonderfully repurposed shearing shed. And there are lots of cute farm animals running around too.

Second visit here and it just gets better. If you want to relax and see how a farm works, this is the place. If you want a family holiday where children can see and feed farm animals, this is the place. If you want a getaway for time out or romance, this is definitely the place to go. Nothing compares to the peace and quiet of Redwing Farm as a Yorke Peninsula, South Australian farm stay. Great fishing and attractions are within a short drive. Innes National Park is under 2 hours drive. Local food is amazing, as are local markets. Come check it for yourself. The hosts are second to none and so welcoming.

It is not only the perfect retreat for families but it is also an educational experience as well. From the information booklet in the accommodation, to the farming signs and all about the animals, it just keeps on giving. There is so much to do you need more than a couple of days! And the night sky... I must stop. Just go there.

A well thought out tastefully done property with plenty to catch both the eyes of little and big kids. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the fields and by the lawn at the shed was so peaceful. And a hot shower under the stars topped off a very enjoyable weekend at the farm

We all had a wonderful time at redwing with 3 kids (7, 5 & 3y.o). The kids loved the animals, farm life and the great accommodation in the shearer's quarters, and the friendly farmers/owners... highly recommend it!!!
