Sun River Resort Motel

I stayed here for just over 3 months and had the time of my life!
It’s got such a friendly family vibe, it’s clean and has a bbq area and pool that was great for the weekends.
Jim (owner of sun river) is the best! He looks out for everyone at the motel and Is really fair when sorting out jobs and just a laugh to hang out with. I was really cutting it fine with completing my 88 days and Jim made sure I always had a job and I completed it all within the 3 months, also Jim provides cars/vans to get to and from work. they also do a food shop run once a day which is free to use to get into town to get your shopping and this was a massive help! If there was ever an issue with anything I could go and talk to him and it was instantly sorted out.
Looking at my whole traveling experience Jim’s place was definitely my favourite and where I was happiest! If I’m ever back in Australia I will definitely go back to Mildura and stay at sun river.
Couldn’t recommend it high enough!

Great place could be better all rooms should have microwaves and should also do pest control every 6 months

Great place to relax. Amazing helpful people, close to Mildura and Buronga IGA and petrol station. Has great facilities for cooking your own meals. Clean and neat pool surrounded by palm trees. Great for families or individuals looking for workers accommodation. Has laundry and common room with smart tv and pool table. Only short walk or drive across bridge to Mildura.

Location, motel staff, and facilities were excellent! Everyone at the motel went above and beyond to help in any situation. The motel room was super clean and had everything we needed. We will be back to stay next time travelling through Mildura!

What a great place to stay, Jim the owner was an amazing host and was very accommodating.
The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable.

I highly recommend this place if you are visiting Mildura , it was suggested by a friend and I was pleasantly surprised, very friendly staff, great value and a nice big pool is the cherry on the cake. Will definitely come back again, Mr Jim the owner is a mate now! Thank you!

After a 14 hour drive it did the trick. Room was clean and office staff where friendly. The bed didn't feel that great but I slept like a baby.

I stayed here for one night. I have no issues with this place, as they delivered exactly what I expected. Fresh linnen, relaxed environment, and reasonable price. I would refer this place to others.

Amazing motel. Motels are clean. Huge kitchen and dinning area . Close to everything. Owner is more than accomdating and friendly. Highly recommended.

1st time in this area gotta say this place is place is the bomb. Feels like home. Best mangerment and staff makes you feel like family. Will never find a place like this.

I was the delivery guy every time i go the backpackers are enjoying around pool looks nice place for short or long term accommodation.

A good place to do your farmwork, the owner is fair and reasonable, there is travel provided to and from work and the motel is clean.
