Ardrossan Jetty

Very long jetty. The place is clean and few carpark space. There's playground and monument at centre of carpark. Beautiful cliff near jetty almost look like Great Ocean Road. Clean area and very scenic.

A fine place to visit for the people in love with beach and also if you are a fishing fan. We had visited the Ardrossan Jetty in the early morning when you can see the beautiful sunrise and the weather was real good.
The breeze was quite okay for the day to be suitable for fishing.
You may find crowded some time near the mid afternoon otherwise it’s pleasant and people are really friendly.
We did a lot of crab pickings but otherwise saw a lot of squids and special treat was to watch a puffer fish.
The beach was good just that not a lot of the area cause of the waves hitting the floor.
It was a great and pleasant time to visit with your family as it’s quite boring if you didn’t catch one yourself while fishing. However, you might be lucky than like us you would be able to spot dolphins as well. As we saw two of them swimming very close to the jetty.

Great spot for salmon,Tommie ruffs and crabs.

We had a great 2 days fishing and crabbing off the jetty. Perfect break away.

The afternoon at Ardrossan Jetty gradually descends on the rushing waves, and the clear blue sea surface also begins to change colour, like a beautiful fairy changing into a splendid nightgown. In the distance, the sun seems to be slowly sinking into the vast ocean, adding to the majestic, mysterious space where nature hides its secrets in each wave.

Great for squid and crabs. If you happen to be in the area when a school of salmon move through then you're in for some big fish. Snook can be bagged at first and last light.

Can be overly busy and over fished on weekends and public holidays.

Great for squiding & guy caught a few blue swimmers & sand crabs but was out of season for them

Beach is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and clean!Also a great place to fish! We even seen a seal on our trip.

Easy to access, can find it without GPS. Great view! But no fish and crabs:(

Its a very Beautiful place and unique. The jetty is long and wide.

Caught a good feed or two of crabs and enjoyed the scenery as well.

Great place for squidding and crabbing! A few free campsites if you drive along the coastal road as well

Nice place to relax for a few hours. Great for the kids to play on the beach or fish from the jetty. Two shelters at the end of jetty provide relief from the weather as well as somewhere to rest.

One of the best places to catch crabs, as a regular visitor there's always space on the jetty if you arrive at the right time with toilets and many carparks. Always leaving with 🦀🦀🦀

The Ardrossan jetty serves many purposes. New Scuba Divers and Divers doing courses avail themselves of the safe waters off the steps. Swimmers use the steps and beach to take their daily swim. Fishers and grabbers are also well catered for by different types of marine life throughout the year
Crabs, squid, garish, mulloway, yellowfin whiting,snook and salmon as well as other species can and are caught from the jetty. Great asset to the town. Toilets are usually clean and only a short walk to.the shops.

I Caught Over 40 Crabs from the jetty in 2 days. And seen people , pull in Whiting, Garfish,mackerl. WENT Racking. COOL
