Red Door Cafe

A great local cafe with fabulous service and good food at reasonable prices! Plenty of parking available in front of the cafe.

Red Door has a great retro vibe and is reminiscent of sitting at my granny’s kitchen table but the food is modern, fresh and delicious! They also serve great coffee.

Whether it’s breakfast, brunch or lunch it’s worth a visit! Will be back soon!

I love the Red Door Cafe! It’s a local spot that never disappoints, coffee is always brewed fresh, food is delicious and the decor is unique! Will be back again and again and again for the BLT Roll it is always great!

There are few places where I can reliably say that I would each four or five of the menu items every day of the week! The Gratin is amazing, the lettuce ball, the Benedict perfectly understated, beet mush is amazing, and now the special of a deconstructed burrito.... top notch. Worth going over the far corner of my suburb, as good as travelling to Lilydale for my other top five picks.

Had a great experience here. The staff was super friendly , the coffee and food was good and the little one got a free babyccino so she didn't feel left out. 👍👍

Great little local cafe in Kingsbury. Been going here for 2 years and the quality has just got better. Friendly staff, great coffee and great food. The potato gratin is a stand out.
Appreciate them serving the community throughout Covid.

Absolute Gem! Set amongst a dodgy shopping strip is an unassuming Cafe with great food and friendly staff. Sat there for hours and everything coming from the kitchen looked fantastic. Definitely our new go to when visiting La Trobe.

Food was so good service was even better. Had been waiting a few weeks for them to have dine in was well worth the wait highly recommended 👌

Staff are so fantastic. Very happy to chat and with everyone just like you are a regular daily customer. Show genuine care and love for all customers. Homemade sausage roll is awesome. Thanks for an enjoyable morning coffee.

23 Apr 2022 update. Called in for breakfast with my daughter and nothing has changed. Service is still amazing, thanks Ruby , coffee was great and breakfast superb. Still an amazing local cafe. Thank you.

Real coffee hit, the best coffee in Melbourne never let me down,they value their customers and take pride in what they are doing.. all the staffs are friendly and welcoming ..

I have been coming here since the red door first opened and I can safely say it is my favourite cafe in the entirety of Melbourne.
They are so accommodating to any dietary requirements or preferences you have and I have never felt judged or like I am an annoyance for needing modifications made to my food.
The quality is one of a kind and I have never had food that is made with such care and love anywhere else. The atmosphere is inviting and comforting and everyone I introduce to this splediferous place is as astonished as I am.
