Very good well set out a pleasure to go in have friendly staff at reception in nice uniforms which makes it a professional medical centre.

Honestly some of the friendliest service around. The receptionists always try really hard to a) remember you and b) accommodate you wherever possible. Also. Pretty great selection of doctors. Great service in the town.

We are travelling thru to Mackay and we needed a last minute doctors appointment for our daughter.
Not only were the receptionists super helpful and understanding as we were delayed at the qld boarder check point, but doctor Sarah was so professional our Emily who was a bit scared
Thank you so much for your amazing service - so grateful it was super quick and we were back on the road. Highly recommend

I got a bill from GMC for one non bulk bill fee as it was an appointment open by a postponement on the day and I urgently required immediate medical attention
due to kidney and bladder issues.
Not sure how long I sat in the waiting room but eventually the doctor called me and after I explained my condition to him he referred me to the hospital to undergo medical test, this was only a matter of less than 10 minutes from when I went in to his room to when I walked out, just remember this is one only visit and I was given the understanding that I could pay the bill of $78.00's on my payday the following week a Wednesday which was not a problem and until I checked the mail box that was what I expected to pay, 'WRONG'!! the bill I received is for $126.00's for 'one' on the day
appointment and not the $78.00's I was told.
Oddly enough the above bill was retracted later
It would seem I am paying for someone else as well or it's just because of all their own hype, being different costs more and gossip and hearsay in a country town it seem to carry more attention than actual truth.
The law in Queensland in 2020 as in previous years remains the same
You cannot discriminate against a person regardless of colour, race ,creed, religious beliefs, physical or mental disabilities, age, sex or sexual persuasion nor can you vilify or create mischief so as to cause another person hardship for any of the afore mentioned.
A medical service is legally obligated to allow a patient a doctor of their choice or an available one so that the patient can get medical attention as soon as possible.
And as far as I know a doctor has a
code of ethics they have to bide by.
I think we need another medical centre because pointing out the obvious,
the one we have can't cope with the amount of increasing patients they turn away and these people have to either go to the local hospital that has a wait time in excess of 2-7 hours depending on serious emergency cases and a shortage of doctors or go to Inglewood or Toowoomba or Warwick.
Or you could book for an appointment and if you're lucky get seen in a week to a month or two or three in which case you'll have either died or gone to where can get medical attention.
We do need another medical clinic and ,doctors and qualified nurses.
The one we have isn't cutting it folks!!

I did not enjoy my recent three days stay at Gunsynd Motel.

The new owner Mark was, for the most part, very unpleasant to deal with. For the moment, I will give him the benefit of the doubt and am not posting anything of full review.

He's probably not had a single day off for more than three months. Likely, he has found himself on call for at least 15 hours a day and having to be actually working for the most part of this. Definitely, the business bank account balance will be well short of overflowing and all of this in combination does make for a tough life. Small business is, at times, both unrewarding and very hard work for the owner operator, receptionist, cleaner, garbage man and bookkeeper; the outset and initial few months is one of the worst of these times. These are among the reasons Mark carried on in the manner he did.

When I am next in Goondiwindi, I intend to meet with Mark and will try to address and resolve the problem issues. Good reason will prevail, one should reasonably hope that is.
