Would never go anywhere else for a sofa, not that we’ll need to now for a while! We were looked after by Fiona who was friendly and knowledgeable. Yes, the sofas are a little more expensive than what you would pay at a large chain, but the quality is exceptional and we are so happy with our new sofas. Thank you

We looked everywhere for a sofa that would fit our space properly and be comfortable to sit on (for two tall people). Fiona was fantastic all the way through and very patient when we couldn’t make up our mind. We got exactly what we wanted and it fully justified spending the little extra compared to high street options.

We had excellent help with choosing a sofa. We were served by Eli who was very knowledgeable and understood our needs. Eli made the process of choosing the right sofa so much easier. She has an excellent eye for colour too and helped us choose fabric to compliment our other furnishings.

Huge store with a massive collection! The gentleman was super helpful to us in choosing our sofa and had some great ideas for a coffee table.

The showroom is good. Customer service was ok but could have lifted a notch.
My main beef is the $100 (cash) delivery paid direct to the delivery men to pick up in Hawthorn and deliver to Hawthorn! They then charged me $30 extra to carry my existing sofa down to my storage cage!
And after I'd helped them carry cushions in from their van!
If I hadn't been so gobsmacked I'd have asked for a receipt.
It really does the store a great disservice.
Apart from that, I love my sofa.

Awful experience. There seems to be a culture of lying to and/or ignoring customers at the Hawthorn store. The fact that our ottoman arrived four weeks later than the sofa was disappointing, but the attitude of staff was the worst customer experience I’ve had in a long time. They did not proactively try to fix their mistake so I had to constantly chase them up. Not once did any staff member return my call as promised. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

I had some of the worst service that I have ever experienced with Sofas Direct. Our sofa was delivered to the wrong specifications, there was very poor communication, promises about providing the right sofa were not kept, there was very poor coordination between Sofas Direct and their manufacturer, and misleading information was provided. It took three months of further hassling Sofas Direct to get them to actually deliver the sofas I had specified and paid for. An extremely disappointing and frustration experience.
