Ambula SriLankan Restaurant Berwick

It feels like one needs to travel away from CBD to find some hidden gems. The food here was authentic and very tasty. They had the buffet which had some interesting new options that I haven’t seen in buffets I tried in CBD. They have a very nice selection of home made sweets and cakes too.

I had takeout lunch from this restaurant at a friend’s place, and the food is very flavorful. The portion size is big, and everything is very tasty. I tried lunch, fish buns, and seeni sambal buns – they are awesome.

Recently arranged catering for a dinner party. Food was ready on time and packed well. The food tasted amazing (non oily food) and there was enough food for the number of guests I ordered for. I will happily recommend Ambulla catering to anyone.

I went to the english class that Ambula's child went to. He was the samrtest child i ever seen. One sentence i remember him saying is, "it is a big like a sun..." this honestly cracked me up. Bro was besties with the pereras and imad. BTW, im cracked at fountine my guy...

Good taste for value. Had the afternoon buffet and it was amazing. Parking was easy and place was clean and tidy.

I got two potions of Handallo.. it was very good... the best was IT WAS IN A ECO FRIENDLY PACKAGING... not the usual Styrofoam.. WELL DONE.. (I hope you will be able to change ALL your packs into Echo friendly ones... )

The food is great, as always. There was a little mishap in the kitchen, and they didn't deliver the complete order, but when I rang them, they were apologetic and quickly delivered the missed item. Well done to the team for great customer service.

Champika & the team always comes up with good, mouth watering options. Great variety of food offerings. It's nice to see them grow, expand while maintaining/enhancing quality & value for money. Good for event catering too. Keep up the good work. Always enjoyed your food.

Fresh Sri Lankan Rice and Curry place for lunch and dinner. Never had a bad experience with them. Clean food and super tasty.

Good Sri Lankan restaurant, takeaway and dine in available. Variety of food and authentic Sri Lankan taste. Have special days like hoppers nights, etc. Can check their Facebook page to findout the daily specials. Usually very busy for Friday and Saturday dinner. Also have shorteats and string hoppers on some days.
