Sakura Inn Japanese Restaurant

This is one of the best vegetarian friendly Japanese restaurant around SE suburbs.

I have visited this place twice. The service is excellent. Due to COVID you are allowed in the restaurant just for an hour which should be sufficient time if you are a small group.

Vegetarian Recommendations- Gyoza, Ramen with miso base and Sushi 🍣

Excellent place to eat authentic Japanese food. Chef has great skill, servers are very polite. We went there for a work function on Thursday 23rd November 2017.

Amazing food with big portions! I’ve never got any dishes from here that I didn’t enjoy. Great service and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Such a great and cosy place... easy access no stairs, which is so good for elderly people to come. Very clean. Order came quickly. Friendly service and understanding for guests with older parents. Very happy we went there to celebrate our kids achievement.

Casual but classy dining, with some of the best sushi in the Eastern suburbs. Very underrated gem. The staff are lovely as well. It's hard to find a better lunch experience than their salmon nigiri coupled with a green tea.

The perfect place for a quick, tasty, cheap and easy dinner. The service is great and the food is delicious. Plenty of variety on the menu and a large selection of drinks. Would recommend trying the black sesame and green tea ice-creams for dessert.

I've visited here a few times with a friend of mine for a quiet late lunch. Very friendly staff, and the vegetarian ramen with miso soup was lovely both times. I believe there is quite a high EFTPOS minimum ($30 or so from memory) but the staff accepted split bills with cash so we didn't mind that much.

The chicken bento box was on point! Karage was very very good. The beef bento was pretty good, but the teriyaki chicken version topped it. Bigger serves than I expected, and included matcha ice cream won me over. Definitely try the Choya Yume wine. Family friendly - does get noisy if you eat early. Will be back!

Bento prawn and chicken teriyaki, delicious! Semi regular here and every visit has been great. I consider this place a reliable local for mid week casual dinner, great quality and price. 👍

Large menu range and excellent prices. Staff have always been very helpful and polite. Would easily recommend to anyone looking for Japanese cuisine.

Nice local Japanese restaurant. Very popular for goods reason. The teriyaki was a little salty but otherwise for was off a high calibre, especially the sushi and sashimi. Staff reasonably attentive.

Great hidden gem of a place, cheap delicious Japanese food with some very interesting dishes. Haven't had a bad dish here so feel free to try anything.
