My wife bought fuel today. I was filling the car and she went in to pay. She was asked which pump. She pointed to our car at pump two. There wasn't any car at pump one. However the attendant charged her pump one which was more than $10 extra. I went inane explained the problem, but as I wasn't able to remember the pin number of the card used, I presented another card for the refund. At first she refused stating its not allowed,but after some argument about it, she let me present it as I didn't have any other option. Although not really allowed by law I was able to get the refund. It was her fault that she charged the wrong amount so it's only fair to ad allowed to use a different card. She was anything but friendly about it even though she was at fault. I believe I was within my rights about this
