One of my favourite Korean restaurants that’s not in the city.

We all loved every single dish, especially the ox tail glass noodles soup, that was so smooth and delicious.

Fried chicken was very crunchy, unlike other fried chicken with heavy batter, their fried chicken was battered with a different kind of flour that makes it light and crunchy.

This restaurant deserves more exposure!

We sure will be back!

This is the kind of restaurant you can go and always find a seat at. It’s quiet and simple - but the food and service is fantastic.

My family goes here often and we love, in particular, the nourishing ginseng chicken soup, the fried chicken, squid bulgogi. The grilled meats with perilla leaves is also fantastic!

The service here is above and beyond. Even on the quiet days, the shop owner is friendly, speedy and greets us sooo warmly.

Only note - the restaurant toilets are up a few flights of stairs. So if you have mobility issues etc, I probably would take note of this / get takeaway instead.

What an amazing and wonderful Korean restaurant near a strip of restaurants in Whitehorse Road, Balwyn, this little gem is something you need to try.
There doesn’t seem to be much dining space, but there is more space further inside the place.
There is also some seating outside to enjoy on a warm summer evening.
The place can get busy, so if you are two or more, I would recommend booking.
The design is really neat and Korean style, and the staff are friendly and helpful and can recommend good traditional Korean dishes.
The barbecue is so amazing, but you need to be a minimum of two people.
If you are alone, try one of the many amazing Korean chicken, pork or beef dishes.
My favourite dishes are the Bulgogi dishes on sizzling plates, the beef or pork one is a must try.
The Korean fried rice is also delicious, much different than the Chinese fried rice. The egg on the rice is really yummy.
The prices are moderate and very affordable and the place is simple to reach by transport.
I would recommend a visit to this restaurant.

If you want to have a real Korean style cuisines but don’t want to fail, hit this place! You will never be disappointed. This place got the best Korean food in Victoria. Even it takes more than 30 mins by car to get there from my place, I always choose this place because 1. The food is excellent 2. Staff are kind and welcoming 3. The portion is more than enough for me. Highly recommend by Korean.

The staff here are always smiling and lovely. This restaurant is the best Korean restaurant in the area. All of their current Korean dishes are pretty good. The bibimbap is delicious, great value, rich toppings and a spicy sauce that is usually already added to the bowl, so if you like to adjust the taste, you need to set it aside. The refillable side dishes are addictive. Of course, the fried chicken hits the spot too. They have kbbq, but no exhaust fan, so if people around order BBQ, you will smell Korean bbq. There's also a burger and Mexican-inspired menu.

Our best local Korean restaurant. You can’t go wrong with any of their Korean dishes. The stone pot bibimbap is great value packed with yum ingredients, the sauce is spicy and usually added into the bowl already, so just ask for it to be set aside if you prefer to control the heat. The refillable side dishes are addictive. And of course the fried chicken is on point. They do have kbbq, but no exhaust fans, so you will be infused in kbbq smells if anyone around orders bbq..Also has a burger and Mexican inspired menu. The staff are always lovely.

Best korean food ive ever tasted. The waitress was very hardworking. Eventhough she worked by herself and it was crowded, she's still very nice to the customer. We ordered buda jigae, cold noodle, bulgogi bowl and original fried chicken. Everything was very delicious. And the homemade sidedish was a homerun. I will definitely visit again sometime soon. Cannot emphasise how delicious and authentic Oztook's food is. I can definitely say their side dishes are top notch.

Their food is also top notch. It is extremely hard to find a Korean restaurant that serves Korean food with a high level of authenticity in Melbourne.

This by far is one of if not the best Korean restaurants. Situated in downtown Balwyn it must be on your hit list!

I came here with my family recently and was blown away by the authentic Korean flavours as well as the diverse range of dishes served at Oztook! We tried the spicy beef spare ribs, braised spicy angler, lamb hotpot, and kimchi quesadilla - all delicious with really generous servings. I love spicy food so my favourite dish was definitely the spare ribs - I must say it's on the very hot side (beware if you have low spice tolerance haha) but the beef is mouth-wateringly tender and I personally can't wait to have it again on a cold night. We finished off nicely with matcha ice-cream, orange & almond cake with berries, and caramelised peanut milkshakes which surprised everyone including me, as to how good it was (super refreshing and not at all heavy like other milkshakes)!

They even do KBBQ, Korean fried chicken as well as Korean flavour inspired hamburgers, burritos and quesadillas = I'll be back again to try more :) Overall - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Hidden gem in Balwyn! We’ve been here multiple times and the food is very consistent, yummy, hearty and generous in portion. The staff is always attentive and kind too. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner :)

Best KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) in Melbourne! They're chunky(ordered Boneless), crispy and has body to it. It took 45 mins drive from there to home and their KFC still crispy especially the original one!! The "Oztook Burger" is highly recommended as well. I've been getting them for small gathering/party and everyone loved it!

If you want to eat steamed monkfish(anglerfish) that you used to eat in Korea, you have to come here. I went to eat spicy galbi-jjim but ordered steamed monkfish. it was really nice a choice that I had no regrets. side dishes are really good too. 👀🤍

Really wanted to try authentic Korean cold noodles after watching all the K-drama. This place serves such tasty authentic Korean food. Service is amazing too

It was a lucky accident coming across this restaurant when visiting Balwyn. I ordered an old favourite, pork bulgogi, and it was delicious. It must take courage to open a restaurant during the pandemic but this is the sort of experience people will queue for.

We went this Sunday to eat with my friends and I must recommend it. The food was very good and very varied. The drinks were delicious too. Up up up

Great service & the side dishes were really good. Just thought the fried chicken was a bit on the sweeter side.

Good Korean restaurant. Offers a large range of Korean foods. Service is up to par.

Great experience all round but have to give bonus points to the lively and friendly waitress who was eager to show my friends and I how to mix Soju and Beer. The fried chicken was also very good and mixed with the soy and garlic it was so delicious!
