Two Fat Indians Berwick

My dad went to order fish and chips from a shop nearby and ended up bringing this home instead and it was absolutely delicious. It was probably the best butter chicken i’ve ever had and the naan was so buttery and amazing. My Dad also said the lady serving was lovely and she threw in some extras for us too!

Had a wonderful meal at the Two Fat Indians. My party of 7 had the set menu with the desert. Service was fast and friendly. The food quality was superb. The restaurant was clean and felt very comfortable. The place got really busy and had a wonderful vibe. Highly recommended. Will be returning.

Yummy meal and lovely people, had the dinner for two takeaway, medium butter chicken, mild Rogan josh, both great flavours and heat, garlic naan great size fresh and hot, rice was well cooked, tasty Pakoras and sweet full of flavour dessert, even some leftovers for lunch the next day, not expensive for what you get , we will be back for sure

Came for dinner with my partner and loved it. The wine selection was great (and very well priced) and the food was to die for. We got a selections of entrees (tandoori mushroom pictured) that were amazing! Will be back!

Menu is restricted but has dishes not found in main stream curry houses.

3 chilli beef vindaloo and the sour chicken were really tasty. Both the buttered nan and the kashmiri nan were also tasty.

All beers seemed to be bottled.

Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Left with my mouth with a nice tingle and a full belly.

Went for dinner with my family of 8. The venue is small and unassuming, but the food and service was out of this world. The staff went above and beyond for us, including bringing us some special dishes to try and some dessert for the the kids. Definitely would recommend!

My first visit to 2 Fat Indians did not disappoint. The food was fresh , delicious and very generous serves. The curries were so flavour packed and the meat was deliciously tender. Naan was crispy and soft and perfectly cooked. I ordered the family pack and there was plenty to go around and a great variety. My compliments to the chef.

We have ordered from this restaurant many times, we always go for the dinner for two combo. This is the best Indian restaurant by far on the south east of Melbourne, the food is consistent, delicious and affordable.
We’ve never had a bad meal, and we always highly recommend to friends and family.

Hands down, the best Indian I've had ever since we moved to the area.

Tried this location by pure chance as my regular indian restaurant closed down.

One of the best indian places I've ever been to!! Best vegan curries! They were so lovely and accommodating to my vegan dietary requirements. As we were going to the AFL game, they had a buffet dinner on and only had 1 vegan curry option as part of the buffet (you couldn't order off the normal menu, because of the semi-final night). I didn't even ask or suggest that there was little options (honestly I didn't even think of it, just happy to have 1 vegan option), but the lovely lady serving us (when I asked if the vegan option was labelled at the buffet bar) immediately offered a second vegan curry so that I could have another curry option and gave me some vegan roti all no extra charge. Honestly, I've never been to a place (that isn't vegan) that was this accommodating!! I really appreciated it and highly recommend supporting this business.

I can't begin to tell you how good this food is. Beautifully aromatic, perfectly spiced, and generously portioned. We ate like royalty and still have enough for lunch the next day and possibly dinner.
And for dessert, the loukoumades cannot be passed up. Absolutely decadent, and better than any Greek restaurant in the area.

Very tasty Indian, I personally love butter chicken and the Nann bread. Other family member have had the butter kofta which was also delicious.
Result … The food amazing and the customer service is exceptional!! Super stocked this is my local.

Love Two Fat Indians Berwick! Food is always delicious and fresh. The Naan is perfection and everything else tastes just like my mum made it, beautiful , simple and authentic Indian flavours. Order early on weekends, as they’re in high demand and often sell out of popular dishes. Look out for their weekly special dishes, not on the regular menu, we tried the fish curry a few weeks ago and it was absolutely beautiful.

Best Butter Chicken & Garlic Naan I’ve ever eaten. Tastes fresh and clean, doesn’t leave an oily after taste. It’s lighter than any others I’ve eaten. Highly recommend!!!

Spectacular every time! We love the butter chicken and cheese naan. The meats used are big chunks of quality cuts that shines through the dishes. Services is pretty good and efficient too.

Had the pleasure of eating both takeaway and in the restaurant. The food is fantastic, as is the service.
Serving up all of the classics and a few I had never seen (but can highly recommend).
Best Indian food in Melbourne? Highly probable.
