Whisky Den

A gem 💎 has such a great time at whisky den, the atmosphere is cozy with a great selection of whisky at a range of prices. They make a great old fashioned. The people that work there are friendly, passionate about their whisky and help you make the right choices about your beverage. If you like whisky, I recommend that you check this place out.

Whisky Den is easily one of the finest establishments in Melbourne. If you need a whisky fix, absolutely make this a top priority. Warm, comfortable, cozy. The staff are pretty cool, too.

Lovely little whisky bar with a wide selection of single and blended malts from all over the world. Seriously impressed with their range of Aussie offerings. I came here just after 4pm which was perfect timing and was one of the first, but soon after it was filling up with customers so timing is everything! Service was very good and drinks were brought out in a timely manner. Perfect location if you are into your whiskies while having a small quiet place to enjoy your drink.

The Whisky Den was great meeting my expectations with exactly what we were looking for!

There was a wide range of whisky choices from a variety of different countries at similar prices to what you would expect to pay to sample different whiskys.

The staff there were exceptionally friendly and it was nice that customer service was valued here, given it has been a declining business offering in most places.

I particularly liked the Bowmore 15 year old sherry cask whisky for $20 and would recommend trying its smooth, slightly smokey, slightly sweet flavour.

I’m sure we will be back again soon!

Huge shoutout to Marty the bartender. My friends and I came in and he happily served us and taught us about what we were drinking. Would genuinely recommend the Whiskey Den just for Marty. The other bartenders working the friday night were also lovely!!!!

Wow, what a great place. Very personable staff. I had some top shelf Japanese whiskey. OMG, it was amazing. Well worth the price tag. Huge range to choose from, it's definitely somewhere I will be revisiting next time I travel to Melbourne.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place, it is a small and cosy hidden gem. Extremely large range of Whisky available. Will definitely be back again. Friendly and knowledgeable staff also.

Awesome service and great night out with all the right whiskeys on the shelf

Staff friendly, casually to help you blending into the mood with some jazz and blues. They treat you like a friend more than customers. Staffs are more than welcome to help you with getting which whiskey you are looking for and help you to choose even you are completely a rookie at whiskey area. Always return back when I visit Melb. Btw I’m from adl 😂.

Warm and cosy vibe, friendly staff, variety of options for Whiskey.
On top of everything, the knowledgeable bartender was the best, who gave me good recommendation on whiskey with thorough explanation. The bartender also has a great skill in conversation which enhanced my overall positive experience with this place and my enjoyment over whiskey :)

Really great bar. Ben and Luca were great hosts. The bar has a great atmosphere and the bartender choices were perfect. We went for the Nante sherry cask with a menebrea italian lager and a sazerac cocktail which all complemented eachother very well. Good choices from the budget to the extreme which caters for all. Great venue and overall experience was superb.

I have driven and walked past this awesome place in Melbourne! Finally walked in. Greeted with a smile and felt welcomed! A big shout out to Mayo! 5 star service and knowledge. Made us feel welcomed. Can't wait to come back again and with more friends. Thank you!

Stumbled upon this little bar by accident. Lucky me.

The bar team know their stuff and are happy to share insights into the whiskies on offer. That to me is a key part of the overall whisky experience.

Good selection of whiskies and the bar space has a warm cosy vibe.

Perfect place to enjoy a few wee drams.
