Nicholson River Holiday Park

We stayed on a caravan slab site over Easter. The park was very clean and tidy with great amenities. The manager, Jordie, greeted us and guided us onto the site. A pet friendly park that is safe for dogs. Set beside the Nicholson river, it is ideal for kayaks and being near the boat ramp, there’s easy access for boats. The park is right beside the redeveloped general store and café that serves good coffee and great pies, served by friendly staff. The pub is next door and has good meals. All in all, we felt very welcome and valued by the park people. Highly recommended.

We have two tents so we picked river side power sites. The river is beautiful especially dawn and evening.

Location is great, only 15 mins drive to Lake Entrance and it is next to a bottle shop and cafe.

Amenities are clean and new, bathroom is very nice. Hot water pressure is strong and stable. Camp Kitchen is fuly equiped with what we need and utensils are clean.

It was easy to get a mooring, very close to the pub and for the morning - to the coffee shop where we had a nice breakfast
Toilets were clean as were the BBQs

A lovely clean and tidy park in a quiet location on the Nicholsen River. Convenient as there is a great cafe and hotel next door. Only 25mins from Lakes Entrance. I highly recommend as the park manager/owner made us feel welcome and the cafe staff were the same. Grass and concrete sites, very clean and fresh amenities.
Have stayed in many over the years and was one of the best in our opinion.

Beautiful park right by the river with lovely views. The manager, Geordie, couldn't have been more helpful and went out of his way for us. Pub and lovely cafe/general store right next door to park. Very clean and spacious showers and toilets. Short distance to Bairnsdale, Metung and Lakes Entrance. Will be back ASAP.

The park manager Geordie makes sure that everyone feels at home. Very friendly. Great amenities and just an all round great feel! We will definitely be back!

I loved being able to camp right on the river. Amenities currently undergoing renovations. Nice pub next door along with a cafe/bakery with lovely food and good coffee. Manager of the park was very helpful and friendly and looks out for all his guests.

Our group of family and friends have just shared a most special 2 night engagement at the Nicholson River Holiday Park, utilising both cabins and powered sites. We had a most enjoyable weekend, the park is beautifully located, the grounds clean and safe for our little ones, Pet friendly caravan sites and clean, roomy and most comfortable amenities. The cabins most comfortable and equipped, lovely walking tracks for children on bikes and our furry friends, firewood supplied for those chilly nights with wonderful safe fire pits and a lovely open fireplace in the gazebo. A well stocked store so no need to bring supplies, with a lovely cafe and the Nicholson Hotel right next door. The owners and manager most friendly, accommodating and supportive. If I could add 10 stars I would certainly do so. For 20 years I have stayed at Lakes Entrance but say now, we shall now have this beautiful Park as our yearly holiday destination. Thank you all.

A fabulous and well maintained, family friendly caravan park.
Cooking facilities, the recreation room, the Toilets and showers were all spotless, a little dated but nevertheless exceptionally clean.
Newly installed Cabins for people not camping or caravanning.
A very pleasant and friendly reception on our arrival, chats during our stay with a manager that was always available, this Caravan park was a pleasure to stay at.

Jordy is a legend! I had to start with that as he was nothing but lovely from booking a site, checking in and just helping with everything while we were there. We loved camping on the river sites and we will 100% be back. Also great it is dog friendly as well

Excellent Caravan Park & exquisite on-site Cabins, friendly Staff, super clean amenities. Adjacent to the Nicho Store serving home made Pies & Cakes & fabulous Coffee with a smile. Local produce & craft. Highly recommend you drop in & enjoy the Deck. Customer service excellence.

Great place to stay especially with it being right next to the pub and the general store. Very tidy park and the staff were friendly and approachable and also a wealth of local knowledge with things to do and places to see

Great place to stay, located right along the Nicholson River, moor your boat and you'll be ready to go in the morning! Awesome general store offering food and coffee and the pub is just a stone's throw from the park for dinner. Walking tracks galore too. Relax and enjoy!

Beautiful caravan park. Amenities where spotless,management were very hospitable. Would highly recommend this park. And great fishing along the river. Will definitely be back.

The park is set in an ideal location, right on the river. Staff very helpful and friendly. Our cabin was excellent very clean and with everything we required. The only let down with this location is the phone reception (Not parks fault) Café was very nice with excellent coffee. We will be back again.
