Liminal

Discovered this place thanks to Broadsheet. I'm always looking for somewhere new to duck into for a drink & a bite to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to discover Liminal. The cafe was only about 1/3 full, being a Monday. It was lovely and quiet, staff were fantastic plus the food was fresh & tasty. The seating was nice and spaced in most parts. Will definitely be back solo or for small catch-up coffees with others.

Very busy little cafe, had a great hustle and bustle feel to it. The team were super friendly and very attentive.

The bagel was delicious, the bagel soft and doughy. The egg and bacon together with the tomato sauce made it a great start to the day.

Coffee was slightly on the expensive side for a Sydneysider but that’s ok.

firstly when you walk in the design is sophisticated minimal. I had avocado toast, the bread was thick soft sourdough and the avocado was mixed with fennel and finger lime which made it super refreshing. Coffee was delicious and the service was perfect. highly recommend

The place is spacious and they offer the common items you can find in a coffee shop. It might be a little bit hidden (or it's just me who is not good in maps), but the service was attentive and food was great too!

The coffee is great, breakfast roll with bacon and hash browns out of this world tasty. The staff are all very friendly and the service truly 5-star quality.
The surroundings are wonderfully proportioned and spacious. A lovely oasis on Collins Street.

Liminal is located inside the lobby area of a corporate building, it has great ambience and is spacious. We had their roast chicken roll and the anchovy toast, both turned out very good. Will return when I feel like having something simple.

I attended a breakfast at Liminal this morning. First time customer. Food really good and excellent services. Highly recommend.

Liminal was on my list to visit in Melbourne and it was worth it. The food was delicious, great interior and open plan kitchen. Lots of office workers from nearby offices and the vibe is interesting as it looked like it’s located in the lobby area of an office building (I think...) overall cool place

A friend and I had a fabulously delicious and quick lunch here. We can highly recommend the chicken rotisserie and fancy hot chicken roll options. Also, the service from Ella was impeccable: such a delight that makes us want to come back asap.

Great atmosphere for catching up with colleagues and friends. Crowded during lunch time. Great coffee.

Wonderful space, very popular at lunch. Delicious food, including an extensive breakfast menu that is available all day. Good selection of wines and cocktails. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Prices are not cheap and servings are not large but overall a great place.

Really great coffee, very kind and helpful staff. Not many tables with plugs for working but I found a lovely place at the bar close to one, where I could work while checking how those toasts are made.. Yummy

Unfortunately Wi-Fi has a firewall for SSH/Ping, so only surfing the internet is available

I recently booked the private dining room at Liminal for a corporate lunch and it was a five star experience. The room is gorgeous, it had everything we needed to present and the staff were attentive, present and helpful. The food was delicious and the coffee superb. Highly recommend. We’ll be back for sure.

Really lovely spot to sit and do a few hours of work. Absolutely no pressure from staff to leave!

A really cool spot for a light lunch tucked away inside a corporate building. Mostly sandwiches available with some regular brunch items on the menu aswell. They're delicious and the coffee is 10/10

The breakfast vegetables were really good. Menu is fairly reasonably priced. Good seating options to get some work done.

Great atmosphere, decently priced menu with nice portion. Staff are friendly and attentive, lovely cafe for meetings, work lunch or just a laptop work space :)

Nice little Cafe in 161 Collins Street. The scrambled Eggs were well made and beautifully presented. The service was quick and friendly. The place has a nice open, fresh vibe.

A great open plan place with a top notch fit out. QR code ordering at the table, quick easy and efficient. Food was tasty and batch brew coffee was good too.
