Sunshine Social - BBQ

Extremely welcoming, as soon as we walked though the door we were greeted with a big smile and taken to a table, then received some of the best service I’ve ever gotten from the lovely, bubbly, Alfa. The food was absolutely delicious, around $15 each for the burgers, everything came out fresh off the grill still piping hot and delicious. Great verity of deserts and drinks.

Had a beautiful lunch at the Sunshine Social. The food was fantastic, I order the Fried Chicken Burger which was full of flavour and a hint of chilli. Everyone was very satisfied with the atmosphere and hospitality of staff. Thank you, will be coming again!

We come here regularly for lunch, wife always gets the pork belly roll, kids love the BBQ chicken skewers and I usually get the chicken or beef burger! Everything is always fresh & delicious.. coffee is always good and the cubby house with toys will keep the kids happy while you enjoy the food & atmosphere!..
Oh and for desert try coconut icecream!!

We popped into this spot for lunch and immediately felt a smooth and homey (USA) vibe. The servers were friendly and the music was an old school American juke joint groove. Add a bucket of rum punch to these pics and you can see how great the food is. Everything arrived quickly and was delicious with American BBQ styles and flavours. Loved the eclectic decor too.

We will definitely be regulars here!

Service: Great service. Gareth has ALWAYS been accommodating and we have attended a few massive occasions there.
Location: Beer garden with kids play area, can't beat it. Local gem near residential area so street parking is plenty if you can't find a spot at the venue.
Value: Bang for buck.

Summary: Overall good place in the western suburbs with parking, outdoor area, suitable for group dinners with mates, family gatherings, special occasions, impromptu drinks, whatever. Awesome place to have in your life.

A friendly cafe/bistro type of eatery in the middle of town, with plenty of tasty items on the menu. They have an open area outside with string lights, which will look amazing in the summer evenings. I noticed that they also had some alcoholic seltzers on offer, which might appeal to the young adults looking for somewhere to dine. The friends who live in the area love this place, and recommended it to us 😁

We had our son’s first birthday at this venue recently and couldn’t fault anything on the day. We booked the undercover area that kept our guests out of the weather. Food was incredible and staff were exceptional. Management were flexible and let us do what we wanted with the space. Thank you Gareth and Alfa for helping us make our son’s birthday one to remember. Highly recommend to book Sunshine Social for your next event.

A lovely new addition to Sunshine that shows this area is on the move. Nicely set out restaurant with well landscaped outdoor area that is sure to be popular during summer. Staff were friendly and efficient. Menu had a good variety of dishes including multiple vegetarian options. My beef burger was tasty but the brioche bun fell apart as it couldn’t hold the juiciness of the burger. However one of my friends had the falafel burger and had no issue with her bun. My other friend had the beef skewers and said they were very tasty. Price is decent for the portions and everything was served nice and hot. Nice family setting with kids options on the menu. Quite a few treats available for dessert too which I will have to sample next time including the icecream sandwiches.

Totally unexpected and experience. The service was first class and the food was delicious. The softest BBQ pork ribs I've ever had. All the ingredients were fresh and full of flavour. There isn't much in the way of a view of the surrounding area however I like the idea of the place being located in an old service station with a matching theme. There is plenty of room, it was comfortable and there wasn't a long wait time for the food.
I really enjoyed it.

This is a fabulous eatery in Sunshine West that we love. The steak is excellent - they know how to cook both rare and medium perfectly (with the right amount of char!) which makes for a really welcome change. Chips are scrumptious too!

Thursday night is steak night and it’s not one to be missed ($20 steak and chips + beer/wine/soft drink). You gotta check this place out!

Love this local! Great value lunch specials, excellent food, perfect spot for eating in or dining outside in the sun and tasty beers on tap to wash it all down. This is our regular and we often find ourselves here weekly for burgers, steak or schnitzel and always a beer! Plus the chips are perfect! 😊

Consistently beautifully cooked BBQ food. We are really lucky to have this on our doorstep, this place has quickly become a Sunshine institution, serving quality chicken, burgers and ribs. The super friendly and competent team and the outdoor family friendly setting are excellent.

Came here for dinner and loved it. Burgers were insanely good - and well priced. Everything about the burger was on point - huge patties, toasted buns, yum sauce. BBQ chicken was delicious, so were the fries and mac n cheese. My partner ended up ordering a burger after seeing the rest of the tables arrive lol. Has a really cool outdoor and function area. Great customer service and food, highly recommend.

Just had a wonderful lunch and was attentively looked after by the wonderful Julie. No charcoal chicken today so will have to come back. Schnitzel burger with slaw came out hot and the chips were salty, crunchy & delicious. Thank you for the enthusiastic and genuine hospitality Julie!

I just can’t get enough of this place! I score Sunshine Social a 12/10! The service is always outstanding (so refreshing!), the atmosphere outside in the garden is just beautiful, a fabulous selection of drinks on tap, and last but not least the food is just phenomenal. Hearty and full of flavour - always tastes like a delicious home cooked meal.
The best in the west!

Delicious food; perfectly cooked and seasoned. Warm, relaxed and attentive service. Don’t be fooled, dude food doesn’t have to be uninspiring.

Great uncomplicated dishes served fresh and tasty at very reasonable prices, what more can you ask for? The squid was tender and the twice cooked fries bloody lovely. 😋

The place was nice. I went there by chance and saw a nice view with outdoor area to sit. The waiters were nice and helpful. The food I chose was a Slow Cook Pork Ribs. As you can see the portion was kinda big and I was definitely full after that. The coffee was decent too. Even thought the food was not out of this world but it was decent and nicely made.
