Ravenswood Homestead

The entrance took me back to my past where we would visit my mother’s parents (my grandparents) in then a country property. The driveway at The Stables, meanders nicely towards the main building but first you have to drive over a small rickety wooden bridge over a stream that I swear the three billy goats gruff clip clopped across only minutes before I arrived.
The grounds of Ravenswood are extensive and there are many buildings. Follow the signs to the main building and entrance. There is extra parking available on the east side. Rooms are glorious. Decor authentic and nicely done. Breakfasts are stunning with fresh food array available in a beautiful dining room.
The event I was there for was a joint 50th held further passed the main house in rectangular renovated stable. Stunning. Just beautiful. Photos show the decorations and layout that made the 11 hour ‘long lunch’ one of the best gigs I’ve been to in years.
Staff were incredible and their attention to detail transformed the ambience and vibe of the room. Nothing was too much problem.
Food was outstanding. Fresh, whole food, bought locally where possible. Whether it was the home made sausage rolls or flaky pastry filled with cream a cheese, salmon and caviar or cheese croquettes - it as all delicious and plentiful. Bar was full of excellent wines and spirits.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Note: good parking. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly.
Just keep your eyes out for that troll who is probably hiding under that rickety bridge.

Had a lovely night stay at Ravenswood Homestead. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. Spent a great summer night by the pool watching the stars, which are clearly visible outside of the city. A peaceful stay with very comfy beds!

Stayed in the Gate Keepers Cottage, very impressed! Owner was lovely!! loved all the animals. Highly recommend. I would live there if I could. Cant wait to stay again.

My girlfriend booked this last-minute and we ended up there for a night in summer. The room was comfortable, the pool area perfect and some bubbles in the garden watching the sunset went down very well. Hosts were also friendly and accommodating! Best place I've stayed in regional Victoria!

Our daughter and son inlaw had THE BEST weekend wedding any couple could hope for!! All of the guests said that the venue was next level!😍💕👌👍..Would recommend this venue to any couple as they offer accommodation and the owners and management staff go out of their way 5o help make their celebration everything and more they and guests long remember
