Really great camp, can be cool at the top of a mountain over night.
Flushing toilets, fire pits and tables. Gets busy. Shame you can't book a site.. free if you can get a spot. A few great walks.

Took the campervan here over New Years. Site and amenities were clean and well maintained. The other campers seemed more considerate than we tend to experience in some of the more popular places.

Had an amazing weekend for a friend's birthday up at the picnic area, managed to snag a pretty secluded campground for us to stay at with a massive fire bit and enough space for 3-4 tents and a few cars to park. Had an amazing view of the sunrise with just a short walk from the tents. Would highly recommend to anyone that is local looking for an overnight stay not to mention the best part is fully plumbed toilets!

I want to say one star so no one goes and keep it for ourselves . But great spot. Big and spacious. Normal toilet. No motorbikes or chainsaws.

Great place to camp with excellent scenery and a number of short and long distance hiking tracks.
Plenty of camping space available to pitch a tent or park an RV - most with own small fire pits.
Toilet block central to camp sites with running water.
No showers are drinking water available.
Mobile phone reception for both Telstra and Optus.
All completely free. No need to book with local parks authority.
