Lemongrass Restaurant

It's rare for me to give 5 stars to a restaurant. This was one of the best Cambodian restaurants I have tasted, in my entire life. I know it sounds absurd, but the food was amazing. The service was not bad. The server, even though she tried to talk to us in English, because I think she was non-English, she was still attentive and very friendly to customers. The restaurant, itself, has both Vietnamese and Cambodian kind of feel to it, even though there were Vietnamese paintings and the restaurant is both Cambodian and Vietnamese. We ordered Shaking Beef with Dry Egg Noodles, Cambodian Pork on Rice and and Boat Noodles with Braised Offals. I tried the Cambodian Pork on Rice, with a bit of the Shaking Beef and Noodles. First time trying Cambodian Pork and it was delicious. Pork had a bit of sweet flavour. Definitely highlighting the pork flavour. The rice is good. The braised eggs were braised perfectly. Eggs were cooked, and maintained a nice eggy flavour to it. Nice colour on the egg and pork. Beef is very tender, outside has a nice colour, as well. Noodles were flavourful. Overall, it's a great place to start if you looking for Cambodian food, as well as Vietnamese food.

Personally my favourite is the beef lemongrass soup which is a Cambodian dish.

We ordered lemongrass beef skewers, shaken beef with noodles, broken rice with pork chop, papaya salad with chicken and cambodian stew. The food was so tasty, well balanced and flavourful. The portions quite large for the price too. Special shoutout to the pickled carrots/daikon - the thinness of the vegetables really improved the mouthfeel. This is the epitome of good SE Asian food food. Will definitely be back.

Great execution, fast service. You know what you get here. Recommend the tomato rice and crispy chicken spare ribs. This is a no-fluff, all product place. Staff are quickly moving and attentive. Great value for money. Recommend you skip the iced drinks though. Had the lychee drink - lychee pieces were somewhat old and squishy.

travel to Springvale weekly for my groceries and Pho run but decided to eat something else on Sunday. gave Lemongrass a shot as the menu looked interesting and boy was I blown away by the food. had the shaking beef egg noodles which was excellent and the boat noodles which was seriously fantastic. also had a plate of offers/veggies with an interesting sauce that I have forgotten the name of. thoroughly enjoyed the food here and will be back for more.

My favourite restaurant in southeast area. Always come here with my mate after work and they never disappoint us. Food comes fast and in heaps.

This place has the best food in Springvale. The place is new, clean, friendly customer service and food are amazing! My personal favourites are Prawn Spring rolls(entree), Shaking Beef Dry Noodle (main) and Coconut Smoothie (dessert). Been enjoying Sunday lunch here for the last 4 weekends, and we will keep coming!

The food was delicious and the restaurant look clean and nice. Their kitchen is very small but extremely tidy and clean , I have never seen any restaurant has clean kitchen like this. The price is reasonable. Will keep coming back.
