Cute little Cafe near the water. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were very friendly. Tea and coffee very good. Excellent toast and fantastic bacon and Eggs.

Good atmosphere and one of the best fried chicken burgers I’ve had in the country. Cold brew was nice too

Outstanding food and outstanding service.

6 of us turned up and the waiter took his time to organise the tables outside and quickly sorted us our order and made some recommendations. Despite being flat out, we appreciated his patience with us.

We order led the Cubano Benedict, haloumi toastie, fried chicken burger, chilli eggs - it was all first class and we all were very satisfied with our order. We also got a range of coffees which were delicious.

Stopped in a few weeks ago for brunch with my family. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed a beautiful meal and coffee. The service was really quick and friendly. Our boys really enjoyed their toasties. Such a nice place tucked away in Altona away from the main strip. Parking was easy on the street in front of the cafe. We will definitely be back again.

For those who love a little kick in the morning, Chilli Eggs is a great dish to feast. Generous portion, delicious thick sauce with a small kick of spice. Hash brown is a must to add onto this dish, a very crispy log with soft potatoe filling.

Bezirk is one of my favourite cafes in Melbourne! Their coffee is consistently good. Their food is brilliant, the flavours are amazing and celebrate the freshness of the ingredients. The chilli scrambled eggs is the best I’ve had in any cafe so far, it’s spicy and the mushrooms soaked up the flavours really well. We returned a few times already and they’ll definitely be seeing more of us :)

Bezirk is a hidden gem in Altona! The food is consistently delicious and the standout star of the show is the coffee - hands down the best in the area. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it the perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or lunch. Highly recommend giving it a try!

What a great start to the day! Finally made it to Bezirk, after much anticipation. The missus had visited a while back in 2016, and was pleased to return.
The venue is fantastically close to the Altona beachside, yet it retains its suburban charm, quietly facing the rising sun. Great atmosphere is enhanced by the friendly, skilled staff, and the typical cafe banter you'd find for both locals, and explorers alike.
Breaky this morning was top notch, and washed down with well made coffee.

Great food. Waited a while for food. But unfortunately the kitchen became too busy and downstaffed. Understandable. So no regrets.

Dropped by for a quick snack before a walk at Altona beach. Tuna melt was deliciously flavored!

Liked the coffee so much I bought the beans and they're already in the machine at home. Good menu with plenty of options, booked a large table.as.had about 12 and all were pleased.

I’ve been a few times now to this gorgeous cafe, each experience has been wonderful.
The staff are warm and welcoming and the coffee.. well it’s delicious.
I have eaten the chicken toastie, the egg and bacon roll and the monk bowl and each meal has been tasty, fresh and true value for money.
My most favourite are the muffins, they are ridiculously good and I drive out of my way to get them!!

I love coming to bezirk and feel really comfortable coming in with my young children and sitting in the courtyard.

Oh my god… get the Cubano Benedict! One of the most divine sandwiches I’ve ever tasted, pulled pork and shaved ham, with a couple of perfect poached eggs and Hollandaise on top. Simply amazing!!!

Bezirk cafe has been our go to place in Altona. The food is always brilliant with the service impeccable. The coffee served is one of the better ones in the west.

The location of the cafe is the cherry on top. Right next to the beach, you can go for a walk after a hearty meal

I added this place to my favorites. Got a chilli egg and loved it. It was not too hot and perfectly spiced. They brought my long black coffee with a shot of sparkling water 👍. Highly recommended.

I think I had the best eggs that I have eaten in a cafe in years today! Yum! Loving the friendly new owners and most importantly the coffee is just the way I like it! Can’t way to go back!

This is what Cafe dining is all about. Located 100m from Altona Beach on Miller’s Road, this cafe exemplifies how to create a place that not only attracts regular locals but visitors as well.
On Easter Saturday, we came for brunch and were treated with golden retrievers at the outdoor tables soaking up the sun as their owners chatted over coffee.
Inside we were invited to take a seat and given menus to peruse. This modern, clean design with nice touches such as shelves, books and even timber tables gives brings warmth to what could be a stark space. There is a courtyard at the rear which is protected from the wind but today we wanted to view the machinations of this funky place.
The menu is abundant with fresh food options and it’s nice to see that they source much of their items locally, whether that’s the local dairy to the plasterer whose done some reno work.
We ordered the Eggs Benedict with pulled pork and the fritters with a poached egg.
While they we were being prepared our drinks arrived. The English breakfast tea was served on a gorgeous timber board but it was the stunning handmade sea grass blue pottery cup that caught my eye. Such a nice touch. The iced chocolate was good and not overfilled with ice.
Meals arrived quickly and everything was superb. Couldn’t fault anything.
Whether it’s the lovely blue water bottles or the mural on the wall, this place has ambience that epitomises a good cafe.
Staff were efficient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Dietaries are catered for - just let the staff know what your needs are.
You can dine in or takeaway. Plenty of cakes, slices, muffins and even sandwiches to choose from to eat on-the-run.
Note that they don’t use plastic straws! They also have woollen blankets for those cold days and you’d like to sit outside.
Highchairs available for the little ones. They have ‘storytime’ here on Thursday’s which is held at the rear courtyard. Lovely space for kids to play with their toys.
There is one small step into the cafe to I’d say it is wheelchair friendly. Stroller/pram friendly. Parking is pretty good out the front.
Take note other cafe owners - this is how you set up a beautiful space with great food. Well done Bezirk.

This cafe is my absolute favorite! The toasties are a burst of deliciousness, the coffee is consistently perfect, and the service is truly impeccable. A must-visit 👌🏻
