Korean cuisine with authentic flavours. No chicken on the night, but we did enjoy a warming pork and kimchi stew, crispy pork dumplings and bulgogi japchai (beef and veg with potato noodles). Tasty, generous portions, fast and friendly service at a reasonable price. Drink specials are pretty decent as well.

The most delicious fried chicken I’ve had! Not even exaggerating. Super generous serving sizes at a good price, perfect for sharing. The kimchi was also great and doesn’t lack in flavour like I so often find elsewhere. Good selection of soju flavours as well if you plan to stick around for a while.

It’s not a huge space but there’s plenty of room to sit both inside and out. Awesome atmosphere/decor and friendly service. It’s a shame we can’t dine in during lockdown but luckily you can order for delivery :-)

Looking forward to visiting again once restrictions ease up.

This restaurant was an unexpected gem! Going in you're welcomed to a very cozy atmosphere. The waitress immediately greeted and seated us and was quick to offer a friendly smile. She was also kind enough to offer a few suggestions about the most popular dishes. Being my first time I decided to try beef bone soup as per her suggestion, however I did opt for the spicy version being a bit of a chilli head myself. The soup was in a word, divine! A rich full bodied soup that has a nice gentle spice to it combined with the side of pickled radish to cut through any lingering heat was truly delicious. I fully recommend this restaurant and plan to take my family back some time in the near future!

Visiting from Sydney, a long-time local family friend took us here for our catch-up. Although the menu was quite limited, the food did its job - I liked their deep fried chicken in particular. The place is run by an ambitious young bloke who provided top notch service throughout the night. Nice choice of decor and music.

My Mom’s is a small hidden gem tucked away in one of Melbourne’s many laneways. Worth a visit for those who want to have Korean hotpot away from the typical hustle and bustle of a big city.

I wish its owners all the very best with their business endeavours. Thank you for making our night a great one.

Possibly one of the best meals I have ever had. My brother had the spicy ox bone soup, which came with rice, radish and spring onion kimchi. I had seafood tteokbokki, and we shared the spring onion pancake. Everything was truly delicious. I have been to many different korean restaurant and I can safely say that this is a real authentic experience. Would highly recommended. Everything was really fresh. The servings are really generous and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, it has a great atmosphere, with nice background music. If you get the chance try this restaurant.

I can tell you can have one of the best handmade kimchi in Melbourne. Kimchi soup with pork belly was awsome and it goes well with soju.
