A hidden gem in Glen Waverley, this restaurant offers authentic Northern Chinese cuisine. Despite its discreet front door tucked in the corner, we found them accidently a few months ago and have been returning ever since. The charm of this place lies in the careful preparation of each dish, with the chef's expertise evident in the rich flavours and well-balanced seasoning. For an good experience, I recommend starting with their signature dishes. Additionally, if you find yourself unsure about the perfect dish to pair with your chosen bottles, consult Mr. Liu for his expert recommendations; you won't be disappointed.

Go and ask for ‘Beng’ I be your waiter at this place. He expects excellence from his dishes and will make sure everything is up to scratch.

They have over 100 dishes here plus specials everyday. Let Beng guide you through the menu instead, he knows it back to front and will ensure you have the dishes aligned to your pallet. On the night there was a crayfish special with salt and pepper basting. It was delicious!

Here they recommend you have the steam buns instead of a rice dish, I was pleasantly surprised how good it was.

This the second time I have popped in for dinner and will be going back again. The food is beautiful, with good size serves. Normally I find dumplings to be over rated, these ones were very yummy.

The waitress tried her best to help with the menu and we needed the help. Half the fun was working our way through the menu, maybe not suitable for a picky eater.

Delicious food, very relaxing, we had a good lunch

Delicious food and friendly service! Walked by this northern Chinese restaurant and decided to try it out on a whim. I can’t speak highly enough of the food! You really get what you pay for and the quality speaks for itself (a lot of free range meats are used). Highly recommend the free range chicken & mushroom soup, the juicy buns and the special lamb ribs. The service was so welcoming and attentive. We will be back and taking our parents next time!

Amazing. Nothing else can be said. As a westerner eating these traditional meals, the owner and staff helped me (with my poor mandarin) select western tastes and my god did they choose right! Wow is all I have to say. Great value for the meal and what a wonderful place to eat. Must try the pepper onion beef and ask the staff to help you with the rest! See you again

Amazing authentic cuisine, along with a nice and family friendly environment. The staff and chefs provided an experience that makes it one of the few restaurants in Glen Waverley that is worth revisiting on a regular basis.

Amazing food and servise they never disappoint

Wonderfully traditional food, no lemon chicken on the menu here. The dishes were all full of flavour, the food came to our table quickly and the staff were delightful.

Highly recommend. Took my whole family of 10 here. Owner helped make space in busy times. Extremely nice to all customer. I love this place. Best on kingsway. Best in melbourne! Need to try !!!!! Dont miss out!!!

Didn’t put much expectation to Dongbei food in Australia but this one surprised me. Food is very nice, friendly service as well. Will come back.
