After searching almost all David Jones stores in Melbourne for this one Victoria & Woods coat I had been eyeing for a while I finally walked into their stores at Emporium. The girls were very helpful not just with different sizes and options to try on with but also in suggesting how I could dress it better. I have always loved this brand for its quality and design and now even more for such a wonderful shopping experience.

Good place for youngers for shopping fashionable items of standard marka or company.

The sales girl that I spoke to was helpful but throughout our conversation I was treated with a rather condescending manner. I reflect on the other comments here. There is a lack of understanding of customer service and the pretty girls hired in these sort of stores are usually too proud to be accomodating & kind towards the customers.

Walking into the store the girls (4pm Saturday 26 May) immediately looked at myself and my partner, said something and laughed. This set the precedence for a very unwelcoming experience, where I felt the staff were consistently rude and thought very highly of themselves. The only reason this isn’t a score of one star is because the clothing is actually nice, despite the staff at the emporium store letting them down.

Walked in to pick up a click and collect order (12pm Thurs July 7). However all three girls in the store pretended to be busy as to not greet or acknowledge me like I wasn’t there — to which was inexcusably rude and uncomfortable. It really doesn’t take much to offer the bare minimum of customer service…all the above reviews are sadly spot on with my experience.

As stated by previous reviewer, it is such a shame as this label has fabulous clothes and I would’ve been a loyal customer, but cannot support businesses with a store culture like this.
