One of the best places for street art in Melbourne, been here for 10+ years can't find anything to compare. Beware there is a lot of people, but will be able to take photos easily. Really artistic and full pieces are here with minimal graffiti over the art.

Been here twice, early morning and afternoon. The latter is a bit crowded, however could be quite an experience as you actually get to see some artists doing their pieces on the wall. Also quite hard to take a decent photo of yourself as there's almost people on every corner of the alley.

Would recommend going early during the morning rush. Almost no tourists, and the alley is pretty much empty except for a few people who are on their way to work. Whichever works well for you, it is a must visit when in Melbourne.

Definitely one of the popular go-to places to check out the street art when in Melbourne. Lots of people always stopping by to take photos here. The art definitely makes for a great backdrop, and there's always something new as the art changes regularly.

Absolutely adore Hosier Lane, love the atmosphere and the art, love how amazing and quickly the art changes and always love coming here to visit when in Melbourne. This time around there was a beautiful artwork of one of my favourite artists, Post Malone! Wonderful!

If you're into Streetart you shouldn't miss it. We got lucky to see an artist at work today! You can grab a coffee @good2go (a coffee in the street, and they help people in need. For 4$ you can buy a coffee in advance for people in need... Been there... Done that) make yourself comfortable with coffee and a muffin and enjoy this coulerfu street.

This is not the only lane with street art, but propably the most known one. The art changes quite fast - faster than at other lanes as the rules who is allowed to add his/her piece of art are a bit more lose here than at other places where you need an artist permit and the ok of the owner.

You can go to Hosier lane every two weeks and the art changes. Always some thought provoking stuff as well as lots of interesting and surreal examples of street art. Definitely worth a visit

If you are into quality graffiti, this place is for you. Every inch of this place are Instagram worthy. No entrance fee needed and it's absolutely easy to access with the Melbourne free tram services. Just stop at Flinder Street Station and walk here. It's also walking distance to the National Gallery of Victoria so it's basically hitting two artsy bird with one stone.

Melbourne's graffiti alley! Very colourful and features many different styles of street art. Some notable ones included the 3rd world Mona Lisa AKA "The Afgan girl"

Located in the heart of Melbourne, Hosier lane is one of the top tourist attractions in Melbourne. The lanes are full of graffiti and you can take many instagrammable pictures here. There are many cafes nearby and you can walk around, have some coffee and enjoy the vibe here

Wow! Just wow... A must see.. a great walk through an alley of amazing art. One of 4 alley/streets with graffiti on, but this is the best one.

Hosier Lane is one place to go every single week. You cannot go once and think you have seen it all.
Every day someone will create another beautiful piece of #graffiti or #streetart to make it a perfect place to return.
We make weekly 360 videos of this and other lanes around Melbourne. Just look for The Clique online media on YouTube.

Hosier Lane is one of the top places I wanted to visit in Melbourne. I’m not an art expert at all but Hosier Lane is beautiful… and ALSO very crowded.
I, like most travelers, wanted to take photos of myself against the vibrant artworks found in this street art lane. So, it wasn’t really a surprise when we found ourselves in the midst of a huge crowd.
If you want the whole place to yourself, you can visit in the late hours, between 3-5 in the afternoon.
Also, Melbourne is filled with other street art lanes. However, Hosier Lane is still a place you should definitely go to considering its just a few minutes away from Federation Square. It’s something you’d pass by and won’t really miss.

Also, do it for the ‘gram. Your photos will definitely be vibrant.

The coolest laneway in Melbourne in my opinion -- tons of great rotating artwork, not far from AC/DC Lane, but with more wallspace (and sometimes more crowds)

That art work will change here regularly, on day I'm writing this, I actually found it a little less impressive than normal, but I very much expect it will change and likely be fantastic by the time I pass through. The photos I've posted are from a year or so ago (except for the money in the santa hat, that's from today).

Hosier lane is amazing. The artwork is really something amazing and there's a good chance you will see some of the "artists" at work. Sad to see some work gettibg covered up and small tags being put up but still prettu cool. Even at night it's still fairly safe to visit. Directly over the road from federation square and definately worth a photo shot or two, or to use it as a backdrop for a portrait. Check it out!
