I cannot recommend this Lebanese restaurant enough. The food was exceptional, the service exemplary, and the atmosphere delightful. Whether you're a fan of Lebanese cuisine or looking to try something new, this restaurant is a must-visit. I will definitely be returning in the near future to indulge in more of their marvelous dishes.

After dining at Tabouli in Melbourne and trying their lahme mashwe, I found the dish to be overall satisfying, with one exception – the rice. While the meat and accompanying flavors were delicious and well-prepared, the rice fell short of expectations. It lacked the desired texture and flavor profile that would have complemented the dish perfectly. Despite this, the rest of the meal was enjoyable, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and authentic flavors. Would definitely come back to try the other dishes!

I ordered the Mashawi Plate, with 1 skewer each of lamb, chicken and mince kebabs. It came with rice, fattoush, the freshest hummus I've ever had and garlic sauce and bread. I normally don't eat lamb kebab because it's chewy and has that typical lamb smell but this lamb kebab was the best I've ever eaten in my life 😋
Portion size was excellent, reasonable prices, really nice people, just overall 10/10, highly highly recommend 🤩

Went there with a friend of mine and I can't commend this place enough for their hospitality. We initial sat at a small table but where advised, given the size of our order, we best move to a larger table which we did and they even helped move everything over for us. Even little things like how to serve or eat items we were trying for the first time enhanced our dining experience if not the scent of shisha and coffee that added to its relaxed vibe. The food was so flavoursome and I find myself hooked on the dips - glad I opted for the mix selection.
Although, as a customer, I give myself a negative review for not being able to finish my plate because of everything we ordered- all so good, worthy to try everything....I might have to return on a completely empty stomach 😋

Staff is so friendly and the most important issue for me in every place is whether the staff are friendly or not. We have visited here with our dog and staff were still so friendly and without asking water they thought before us and brought a cup of water for our dog 🥰 And full points from me ✌

The other thing is the food .. probably the best taste I've tried in Australia. When we left the restaurant with my husband we were still talking about their foods. Well done guys definetely looking forward to be in here again 🤎

Amazing food, full of flavour, great meat and vegetarian options. Fresh, clean and full of flavour. I usually order the tawook platter, which is in the picture included, and without fail it is consistently made of good quality ingredients and chargrilled to perfection. A must try when in Melbourne.

Staff are extremely friendly and hospitable! And couldn't agree more when I was told "the lamb is off it's head"!
Get the lamb people! Hahaha, as part of the banquet, everything is delicious, from the dips, salad and chicken wings to the kofta and charcoal cooked chicken and Lamb with rice and a tasty sauce! Strap in for a quality feed 👌

Great food! We got a mixed grill and tabouli to share between two, and it was plenty. I liked the hummus and the lamb skewer the best. Their tabouli is on the sour side which is perfect for me, although it might be a bit much for some people. Overall it was an enjoyable meal, not fancy but quick and affordable.

Overall, a great experience. Friendly staff and great food. I tried the mixed grilled platter and it was a winner. Will definitely be back to try other items in their menu.

Super tasty Middle East cuisine on the beautiful Lygon Street. Great service and friendly staff. 50% off Groupon is great but should definitely visit again without Groupon to try seafood dishes

Best Lebanese restaurant ever!
I'm Italian and Lebanese cusine is my favourite one. Tabouli webt over my expectation: delicious dishes, great courtesy of the staff.
This dinner made my last night in Melbourne.
Highly reccomended!

Just had the most amazing meal and overall experience at Tabouli.
The owners are some of the nicest, most accommodating people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.
The environment is beautiful, homely and cozy in true authentic Middle Eastern style. And most importantly the food is absolutely to die for. Everything we had was incredible from the entrees to the amazing home made hummus, labane and babba ganoush and of course all the meats and kebabs are cooked and spiced to perfection. We finished it off with some amazing brewed aromatic Turkish coffee. Such a perfect meal, I really can't say enough good things about this place.

Best shisha ever on lygon street with the best food. Best customer service went above and beyond with the service. Would highly recommend if you want some nice food and good shisha.
