My wife started labour 2 weeks earlier during midnight.
Fortunately Weng calmly and promptly arranged the emergency cesarean for her and the surgery was very successful within two hours.

He is EXTREMELY skilled and highly professional. My wife recovers well and my little girl is very healthy.

Dr Weng Chan is without any doubt the reason I have my three beautiful girls. He is the most talented surgeon, incredible fertility specialist and the most amazing obstetrician. Dr Chan is caring, supportive, incredibly skilled and so understanding and kind. There is absolutely no one else that can calm me just with their presence like Dr Chan either. I’ve been seeing him for a range of reasons for 10 years now and would not go to anyone else. I cannot recommend him more highly and cannot thank him enough for all the support, treatment and care he has given me over the years.

I participated in one successful round of IVF with Dr Chan to who I credit most of the success is due to. The team at Melbourne IVF should also be mentioned as their technique was also top quality and efficient. However, I wouldn't have started IVF without the guidance of Dr Chan and I wouldn't have a lovely little girl. He was always a gentleman and spoke so professionally whenever he consulted with me. I found his head receptionist a little rude when I decided not to go choose Dr Chan as my gynaecologist for my pregnancy. She just cut the phone on me abruptly after I told her this. But, this shouldn't take away from Dr Chans skill as a doctor. Highly recommend!

I first met Dr Weng Chan four years ago, when my GP referred me to him as a gynaecology patient. My experience with him then helped me decide more recently, without hesitation, that I wanted him as my obstetrician. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable, patient, calm, kind and sincere - even when he is required to act with urgency under pressure - and all of these are qualities my husband and I gratefully appreciated throughout our journey to becoming parents.

Given that an obstetrician is somebody you will see frequently during some of the most vulnerable, humbling and memorable moments in your life, it is important to find one who makes you feel comfortable, cared for and safe. Dr Chan was this person for us and we already know that, if we are lucky enough to be blessed with more children, we will choose Dr Chan as our provider again.

A true professional who is absolutely amazing at what he does. Personally I believe he is the best OB/Fertility specialist there is and you will be in the best hands as a patient of his.

He helped us through the hardest of times and the best of times and was there for our whole fertility journey, getting us to our ultimate dream of having a baby.

With a complex fertility history our care throughout surgeries, fertility treatments, a high risk pregnancy and then finally delivering our baby boy, was always phenomenal.

Dr Chan is currently looking after me for my high risk pregnancy. His great bedside manner, communication skills, and clinical skills have all made me feel well looked after and safe during this incredibly stressful time. He has fitted me in for urgent appointments, visited me in hospital on a Sunday, and has always been kind even when I have woken him up more than once at night for what I thought were emergencies. I can't thank him enough and can't recommend him highly enough!

Dr Chan was my fertility specialist and obstetrician. I had a higher risk pregnancy and Dr Chan’s calm demeanour and professionalism was exceptional and made our appointments and birth of our child such a good experience, even during a pandemic. Dr Chan was relatable and clearly explained our options and the risks associated with each option. He was knowledgeable, clear and concise and worth every cent.

Our good friend, Ling, saw dr chan during both her pregnancies and recommended him to us about a year ago. My hubby and i were very comfortable thruout the 9 months under dr chans care, his consultations were to the point, easy to understand and very reassuring. He always explains the various options available to us and empowers us to make informed decisions.

Just about 2 months ago we welcome our first child on father's day and despite disrupting dr chans own celebration, he arrived at Cabrini promptly to check on me, remained contactable thru out my labour and arrived back when i was fully dilated to receive our baby boy and ensure my tear was well taken care of. I am grateful to hv met such an attentive doctor and needless to say, my stitches healed so well i did not experience any infection or pain.

Really loved Dr Weng Chan and kind of sad to have to say goodbye at my last postpartum appointment as we really felt like he was a friend to our family. He was really nice, patient and also supportive and professional during my pregnancy. Been seeing him regularly for over three years and had two beautiful kids delivered was the best thing ever. Highly recommend.

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD FROM A DOCTOR TELLING YOU TO SAVE YOUR MONEY AND ONLY COME FOR FOLLOW UP IF SYMPTOMS ARISES👀 so I felt pain in my right ovary in the first week of August. I called Dr Weng Chan with reference from my good GP (Peter Yang) and he managed to squeeze me on his next working day and found that my fallopian tube was only swollen due to my scarring tissue from my previous surgeries and with very low possibility of being cancerous. Dr Chan immediately arranged me to take an ultrasound for my ovary and fallopian tube before deciding whether I’ll need to remove my swollen tube. Dr Chan helped me to remove my right tube very successfully and as he estimated, there is no cancer found in my ovary. In extra, Dr Chan also helped me to remove as much as possible of the scarring tissues and divided sticky parts of my reproductive organs. He is totally working for the good sake of his patients. During my operation, I found Dr Chan full of passion, professionalism, dedication, patience, and is informative, problem solving and most importantly care for the feeling and well being of his patients and with good follow up. I highly recommend Dr Weng Chan for anyone who wants High calibre and whole hearted gynaecologist.

I cannot recommend Dr Weng Chan enough! Initially I was a bit nervous to see a male doctor but I was immediately put at ease during my first appointment as he is extremely professional, patient, understanding, kind and compassionate. 6 years on, I am still seeing Dr Chan for the successful management of my endometriosis. I can always be confident that Dr Chan has my best interest at heart and always listens to my concerns before telling me my options.

Dr Chan's expertise has really helped guide us through my wife's pregnancy culminating in the delivery of our healthy baby girl. His expertise when we are in the delivery suite (and the midwife's at waverley private) makes his fees worth every shinny cent.

I am really happy with this doctor. He's very attentive to small things about what my concern was during my pregnancy period. He has managed to answer my questions and help me to overcome my fear. My pregnancy was not a smooth one. I had fibroid during pregnancy which complicate my situation. But this doctor guide me and help me to overcome my fear as i was worried of miscarriage or early birth of the baby. But i listen to his guidance and finally gave birth to my lovely daughter and my life finally return to normal. Thank you doctor Weng Chan for your expertise and guidance. My journey was a rough one, but because of you as my gave birth doctor, my bundle of joy was able to come into this world healthy and happy.

My C-section was performed in Waverly private hospital by Dr. Weng Chan. Time flies, it has been almost 6 months since my delivery. My baby is very healthy and my body recovers very well and I can't even feel the incision. Looking back the whole pregnancy period, Dr Weng Chan was very approachable, thoughtful and responsible in each consultation. Because it was my first time to be a mother, there were so many questions and I was nervous, he always answered each of my questions very patiently and meticulously, comforting me so that I really felt relieved.
