Walnut Tree Cottages

Such a wonderful retreat. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Greeted by very welcoming hosts making us feel at home. The walk down to the river via the orchards is a must. Every small detail was considered. The area is wonderful to tour being in the centre of the Milawa gourmet region. Will definitely be back.

Really neat, clean and functional. And so welcome as the thunderstorms hit just after we arrived. Somewhat glad not to be camping.

Walnuts on trrees still too green, but was told there might be some of earler variety already fallen in orchard towards Ovens Creek. A few fell on tin carport roof during storm: "ka-ding"

Massive thanks to Joe Walnut. The house was ready and prepared prior to our arrival. The place was kept tidy and it was very generous of what was provided in the home. We travel often to the countryside as we are a big fan of the nature but rarely get to see such genuine hospitality from the home owners. Joe did not rushed us off for checkout and it helped my family a lot. Definitely one of the best accommodation we ever been in.

Fantastic place to base yourself and explore the beautiful surrounding area.
Comfy bed, large bathroom and a kitchen with everything u need. Cathy and Joe were very welcoming and thoughful.
Very hard to do pass for value for money.
