One of the best Italian pizza restaurants in Melbourne. The food is very fresh & authentic, you can tell it's been made with love! The only downside is sometimes there can be a bit of a wait for food (even though the wait is worth it). So if you're in a bit of a rush then might be better to order ahead and get takeaway, so you don't miss out on this great Italian pizza/food. #bellissimo

Amazing selection of traditional wood fired pizzas, handmade pastas and many other goodies, including their infamous ricotta cheesecake!

Food was amazing, staff were really friendly! Couldn’t recommend it enough especially if you are after some italian food and don’t want to wander into the busy city.

Authentic Italian food made w lots of love

Genuinely one of the best Italian restaurants i've ever been to. The Pizza and Pasta is equally as a good and always consistent with quality. Fairly priced also. Not the fanciest decor restaurant, just your standard run of the mill place, but their isn't anything wrong with that because the food is amazing and that is the main thing. I wouldn't go anywhere else in the area now. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a meal here a few weeks ago with friends. The place came highly recommended and we were definitely not disappointed.
We had three courses and each dish was packed with great flavour. It was just like eating at Nonna's house. Have recommended to friends and family and we will definitely be coming back.

The food was extremely high quality and so fresh. The staff were beyond accommodating and friendly. Our waiter was so lovely and knowledgeable about the menu, he seemed so passionate. I wish I got his name, he has glasses and was a handsome man! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Best Italian food in Melbourne! A beautiful, homely atmosphere with authentic, high quality pastas, pizzas and ingredients, lovely wines and excellent service. Rachel makes amazing food (look out for her homemade desserts!!) and looks after her patrons as if they are family. Lovely waitresses Mia and Ilaria are always sunny and up for a chat. Highly recommend this place - I go there as often as I can!!!

Food is great, perhaps a tad expensive but reasonable for the quality of food. The waitresses/waiters are nice and friendly. My family and I have been quite a few times and every time the service has been nice and friendly. They do take away, pick up not delivery (I think they do do uber eats though). Over all, good food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. (I would recommend either booking or going in early, they get very busy around 7)

After moving to Flemington from Carlton, I’m so glad this place is down the road.
Authentic, no-nonsense, wood fired italian pizza at its best, perhaps it’s largest fault lies in its less than creative name but don’t hold that against them. Keep up the good work Italy Five Hundred And Twenty Eight👌🏻

We got takeaway from here during lockdown and we were impressed. It was tasty, fresh, authentic Italian food - very satisfying. We have also eaten in on numerous occasions and have always really enjoyed the food. Best Italian food in the area in my opinion (and I’m Italian).

Fantastic pizza (very good Margherita) and gnocchi. Suits families. Fair wine menu. Nice coffee.

We have had several birthday dinners at Italy 528, as there's good space for larger groups and the staff are accommodating.

Street parking required, which can be harder to find on a Friday or Saturday night, but we tend to dine early.

Recommend a visit, it at least try a takeaway pizza.

What a winner! The pizza is better than anything I ate in Italy. The service is spot on -- friendly, knowledgeable and precise when matching wines to tastes. I know where I will be celebrating my 50th. Thank you to the 528 team.

Just love going to Italy 528 our favorite Italian Restaurant.Delicious home made Pasta cooked on the premises, the Pizzas are fabulous and Rachel the owner is a delght. Very welcoming and always prepared to give personal attention to all her valued customers. Will be going back to Italy 538 again very soon.

Incredibly delicious hand made pasta and pizza in a warm and cozy environment. Rachael is a warm, caring host and her passion for food shows in her simplistic, yet delicious meals. But don't stop there, you can't leave without trying one of her home made desserts! She runs pasta cooking classes too, which I'll definitely take her up on. Fantastic!

Italy 528 is a true treasure! The quality of the food is first class and Rachel has the most wonderful home made pasta specials with beautiful complementary flavours...and the desserts are SOoo yummy! This restaurant is such a refreshing find. Great location and the family feel to this place is really nice. I had one of the best pizzas I have ever had here. I ordered the 'Pizza Soppressa'. It was magnificent!!

I remember before i was gluten intolerant that the pizzas here were the best I'd ever had. The salads are amazing too. The only fault I can find is they don't do much gluten free foods

Mark it down as one of the best pizza places in Melbourne, and the pasta is unreal too; we don't talk enough about the pasta because pizza has all the fun.

Amazing authentic woodfire pizza with beautiful owners and staff. Always accomodating and never disappointed. Well worth a visit or takeaway!
