Pyrenees Pies & Takeaway

We stumbled across Pyrenees Pies on a Saturday afternoon after checking out the winery's in Avoca and it did not disappoint. The cheese and cauliflower pie is a vegetarian's delight - highly recommend as it's easily the best Poe we have had in a long time. We came back the following morning for another cheese and cauliflower it was that good, it had sold out so we tried the vegetable pastie which was also fantastic. Great service and would definitely visit here again 😊

The sausage roll was a definite 10/10 great flavour and good filling.
The vanilla slice was very very good. Nice crisp base (nothing worse than a soggy bottom) the icing was the perfect hardness where it instsntly turns soft in your mouth (not sticking in the paper bag) the custard was really good (a little muted flavour for my preference but spot on consistency/texture)

Lovely tasting pies. I got the steak bacon and egg pie and it tasted lovely. Staff were polite and very helpful. I will call back in on my return trip north next week.

Back again to my favourite pie shop after an 8 month gap. Venison this time. 😋

Stopped in for breakfast and had a buffalo pie and a coffee milk shake. All excellent. I'd highly recommend this pie shop to everyone.
If only I could get pies this good in Melbourne.

Great spot for a quick bite or a longer one.
The coffee was great and the staff were fantastic. Having the toilets just across the road is convenient and with plenty of parking for our caravan only a short distance away was great. 😁

Update. Two days later came back and coffee is still amazing. Had a Camel pie and a buffalo pie also. Both were incredible. Best coffee i have had in my life. Awesome work. And the best chicken burger. EVER!! This place is a real gem. Best customer service which is really hard to find in this day and age.

Great place to stop for a pie or coffee whilst you drive through the old gold mining town. The business has been family owned for quite some time. Friendly staff and great variety of pies

A very welcome stop on your way through. Friendly, excellent service and beyond delicious food! Do yourself a favour and Try the pies, chicken Sovalaki with aoli and chips and gravy 🙂 very clean toilets close by in the median strip too! Thanks for a great early dinner!

Wowsers! Just sat in the park eating a beef burger ordered the lot apart from egg and pineapple, truly a happy moment, one of the if not the best burger I have ever had, thanks! Wish I could get a burger like this in Melbourne.

Pasties tasted like an old school memorie & not too much pastry😋😜👍my other half had the egg n bacon pie & said he should've grabbed 2, so that meant they was good👌👌👌

Fantastic selection of pies and other pastries 😋 stop here if you like pies! Will visit again on our trips to Mildura.

It's an excellent regional bakery that was very popular the day we were there and that proved an accurate guide to the place. Look forward to going back.

Best coffee! Chicken burger was sensational. Definitely worth the trip. Edit, went back again today and got a couple of pies. Buffalo and a camel one 🤤🤤🤤 OMG AMAZING

Great take away, awesome award winning pies large variety from meat,steak and mushroom ,venison, rabbit ,kangaroo etc.also huge selection of chicken rolls, burgers,chips ,coffee etc. Very popular you won't be disappointed 😋
