The Grove Gippsland

The first time I saw this place I fell in love with it and at that time we we're looking for a venue to get married, to cut the story short, we ended up getting married here. Their service was exceptional. Especially to Sarah, their events manager, who was so patient with all my queries and made sure our day run smoothly. Tracy who helped us as well and the rest of the team. They were all friendly and accommodating. The food was delectable. Couldn't think of any better place to get married around our area.

The stage for our first day as Mr and Mrs!. The Grove Gippsland. Think beautiful rolling hills and wide open spaces. We fell in love with this location the first time we saw it.

The helipad was the backdrop to our ceremony. It made for one that we will never forget.

Our reception was held in the conservatory. It is a bright open space that makes for incredible photos during the day and at night. The dance floor is offset from the dining areas, near the bar. It is the perfect size to make sure you and your loved ones have plenty of room to party the night away. We had 84 guests.

Now, if you’re a foodie like us and you want amazing food for your day look no further. We were amazed at the quality, flavour and amount of food served. Your guest will not go hungry. We did the shared feast style dining and got many compliments on the quality and amount of the food.

Wedding planning is a complex beast and there will be a lot of emails back and forth. I was blown away at how the team nailed every little thing that we discussed. When you’re planning a wedding you want a team to hear you and execute.. and this team did that. It’s the extra one percenters that makes a difference and the team did this ten fold!

We’d like to thank Sarah and the team for the hours and months of prep that went into making our day so special. You all went above and beyond to make our version a reality.

We had our wedding at The Grove Gippsland on the 29/09/23 and wow, our wedding day couldn't have been any more perfect than it was. The Grove is set in a stunning location in the hills of Krowera- which provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding.
The team at The Grove went above and beyond to make our day truly special. The venue looked stunning, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was beyond anything we could have ever asked for.

A foodie gem hidden in the hills of south gippsland and set on a hilltop surrounded by an olive grove. It’s a stunning scenic drive getting here.
Beautiful and stylish dining room with glass walls on two sides providing ample light and views.
The food and service are both sublime; Friendly and casual to reflect the countryside setting. The chef has been here for 8 months and came from Tipo OO in Melbourne CBD. Hence the menu has a real Italian feel and is a celebration of local produce, with most ingredients sourced on the olive estate itself or from nearby farms.
Great wine list too - all local.
We opted for the Chefs Choice - four courses chosen by the chef. Excellent value and allows you to taste a large part of the menu.
Each and every dish was perfectly crafted & created, and beautifully presented - and delivered by the chef himself.
Sensational Sunday meal - highly recommended!

We loved everything about the grove for our wedding. Beautiful scenery, delicious food and gorgeous hidden pockets around the property to capture the perfect photos of our day. Sarah and the team were so helpful and accomodating with every last detail especially around set up of venue, working with other vendors and catering for some very specific guest dietary requirements.
Highly recommend the grove if you are looking for a beautiful venue and relaxed vibe.

Visited on a week day for lunch. Peaceful and earthy ambience with great service. Staff were friendly and food was very reasonably priced. The ragu was nice but could have had an added punch of flavour. The other dishes were delicious. Really worth the trip out if you're staying near by.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Grove for our wedding. The venue is stunning, the views are amazing, the food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly.
Sarah, our event manager, was outstanding - proactive and attentive, ensuring our and the guests' comfort throughout the evening. We can't recommend this venue enough - we had a fantastic evening that we'll cherish forever!

Where to start? We fell in love with The Grove when it was a restaurant and it just felt right to get married there! Before we even booked, Sarah was there to answer all of our questions - we couldn’t have asked for a more stress free seamless journey from planning the wedding to the actual day. Everything we wanted, Sarah was able to do! The day of the wedding was the best fun I have had, not a lot of people can say that as there is so much going on but Sarah handled it all with ease and my partner Shannon and I just got to enjoy the day. Food was circulating all night, there was never a line for the bar, the space was utilised so well and we had a big wedding of over 200 people - The Grove made catering for this amount of people look easy. It was so well planned and organised. Such a high standard of communication from Sarah and the rest of the team! The most perfect day - thank you so so much!

We had our wedding at the grove and it was absolutely amazing.Decided to go with them because Sarah was soo accommodating. She answered all the questions, and handled everything so we could enjoy our big day and we did. The food and the staff where also great and we would definitely recommend this team for a beautiful stressfree wedding 😊

Fantastic place to unwind from the hassle of a big city. The views from here are amazing and great food. Staff are very helpful and friendly and they will try their best to accommodate you. I felt that the prices were a good value for money as the sharing plates were well portioned. Main meals are good value. Would thoroughly recommend going to The Grove on a clear day and taking in the vista and a great meal.

So we here for our anniversary and did the glamping experience and we must say this is not to be missed.
I will go through all the different things that we did here.
Food:
This was simply amazing all the dishes were very clearly thought out and the use Australian natives was kept front and center just like it should be.
Our portion sizes were value for money which means big for the price you pay ;).
Our stand out dishes were the lemon myrtle gnocchi which had such an interesting taste with soft and melting gnocchis and rabbit pasta which was spicy which we did not expect but we like spicy so it was an amazing win.
And omg the wattelseed TI RA MISU with a coffee caramel center was to die for all in all an amazing finish to the dinner

Service:
The wait staff were very friendly and service was prompt.
Only one thing for some reason all the brown guest were made to sit in the corners and the whites get to sit in the middle with the view well that’s country living for you.

Glamping:
The tent was amazing enough space between then to have privacy and enough space to do you thing.
Loo were the portable kind and very clean.

Over all we loved our experience except for the treatment me got when we entered the restaurant but all in all an amazing place.

We recently got married at The Grove and I could not recommend them highly enough!! We had the best day & night of our life. The team were all so amazing to work and deal with. I dealt with Sarah there events manger the whole way through who never missed a beat and was always available to answer any of my questions. She sadly was unable to attend the wedding due to unseen circumstances and they had Josh replace her who was equally as incredible and everyone raved about how unreal he was and was onto everything and always making sure we were fed or had a drink in our hand. We had our two young boys in the wedding too (1 and 3 and they were always checking in to make sure they were happy or if there was anything they could do) Everything ran so perfectly and smoothly and I honestly can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day everything we hoped for 🤍 lots and lots of love, The Taylor’s

We are parents of the groom and had a lovely wedding at this venue yesterday. The venue has wonderful views around the property for wedding photos and the food was wonderful. The events manager Sarah deserves a special mention the way that she accommodated some of our needs pre wedding day and on the wedding day was there to look after us all and make sure everything went smoothly. We met the owner of The Grove on the day and loved his passion for the place. I would l highly recommend.

Really have to write a review to make sure a voice is added to the sheer applause of The Grove!! And the FOOD, and the service!! We went for dinner and ordered the Chef's menu. It was sublime, and hats off to the creativity and passion in the menu. Each dish was beautifully balanced and presented. Service was friendly and lovely from the waitstaff and the chef! Wine was great too. Love that there are walks around the farm (we walked before dinner) and that the menu leans so much into fresh, local and sustainable produce. Highly recommend :)

We had our wedding here in Feb and couldn’t have been happier. Sarah the event manager went over and above to make sure everything went to plan. Her communication was brilliant and she really did everything she could to ensue we had a great experience throughout the entire process. The venue was beautiful and our guests were really impressed. The food was on point and the staff attentive. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Beautiful wedding venue with amazing food and lovely staff .. especially Brenna behind the bar she was so lovely and happy.

Love the space, views and walks. We will definitely make the trip again. Such a beautiful location. Food and wine were both delicious, made with local ingredients. Great selection of options for people with specific dietary requirements e.g. Gluten Free.
The staff were polite, helpful and pleasant, however the service was very slow. They seemed to be doing the best they could. I wonder if management could consider more servers and more chefs to speed things up, and enable for plates and glasses to be regularly cleared, water jugs topped up etc.

What a beautiful gem this venue is. Hidden away in the hills of beautiful Gippsland with breathtaking views.
I played a gig here for an engagement party last night for a lovely young couple.
It is a beautiful venue and the staff are wonderful people. The hostess was so welcoming and made every effort to make it a memorable night for them.
After playing at countless venues over the years I would say this would have to be one of the best. Highly recommended for any occasion.
