Great coffee, smooth.
The toasties OMG! I’ve never thought much about toasties, coz you know, they’re just toasties, but these were so tasty! Nice firm sourdough bread with a good crunch. Creamy cheese. Nice ham. Also had a bite of the cheeseburger toastie, tastes exactly like a cheeseburger, minus the sugar laden bun.
The boys liked the added touch of salt on the bread, for me, it was a bit too salty.
The granola I’m told was also delicious.
The atmosphere inside is very noisy.

Hidden Gem, in Strathmore. The reviews are correct, Great coffee, creamy, with coffee art, and a great smooth blend. And the Toasted sandwich all day menu, is a refreshing change from the standard breakfast menu everywhere else, definitely a point of difference, and worth coming back again for. And uniquely all male team, which you don't see in cafe's often, just jelled so well, it was efficient, lively, and had a great vibe.

When I moved back into my old faithful neighborhood of Strathmore after 9 years. I was greeted by possibly the best thing to ever happen to Strathmore. Buddy is full to the brim with the most delightful staff and delicious coffee whilst pumping out killer tunes. I’ve once again moved out of the neighborhood but i still visit - because they are the best ❤

Toasties are cooked to perfection every single time. Very generous with the fillings too, really there is nothing to fault!

service is top notch: friendly, prompt and professional. the ‘vibe’ is comfortable, casual, simple, clean, and quick. there are a few tables in door as well as outdoor. popular with small young families (of 3), coffee grab to go, intimate casual brunch for two, well behaved pooches and their owners, etc. coffee is toby estate- smooth: no complaints. coffee price- not above market- surprisingly cheaper than certain local competition. nice place to drop by for a toastie or sourdough with Vegemite and butter, with a coffee.

Not only are they the best Buddy’s you could find; genuinely lovely humans (Dee on shots is killer!!), but as their name suggests, their espresso is divine. Best cafe in the area by MANY a country mile. I travel several country miles to get my coffee fix from the best in the biz. Oh their toasties sllllllap too. Love youse!

A nice place to have a refreshing drinks. Their coffee is the best around strathmore area. The serving staff have always smile on their face.

I didn't eat, however the coffee was the best coffee I have had in a very long time. Staff were extremely friendly and was overall a fun experience. Thoroughly recommend a detour to try the coffee!

The staff are so friendly and attentive. It's also refreshing to see staff that genuinely seem happy to be there!

I still remember the first day I walked into Buddy Espresso to get a coffee and a toastie after moving to Strathmore. The coffee was absolutely first class and the toastie was to die for. But the best thing was I got to know the guys at Buddy and we had a great chat and a laugh and they have been taking care of me since. Every time I walk in the coffee is always at that same high standard as the very first time and the food is brilliant and the guys at Buddy always make my experience as good as the first day I ever walked in. I love this place but most of all I love the guys there because they make me like I’m part of a family. The best coffee, the best food and the best people. I highly recommend Buddy to everyone.

Found Buddy’s totes by accident. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Menu different enough to be interesting ordered a cheeseburger toastie and coffee. Then the barista (Adam) asked if we’d like some water, sure. Then he asked that age old question still or sparkling? And before we could answer Adam told us the sparkling water was free. Just keeps getting better!

Wow what a find! Will definitely return. Plenty of parking options for those who travel by wheels, Tree lined street with dappled sunlight. Fun staff, great décor. Had the iced coffee - up there with the best. If you love a toastie, you cant go wrong!
